Voting ends on the 14th of September 2018.
Do we need a time machine?
Nope, well probably nope. Give me a moment. I shall explain:
I'm about 99.9999999% sure that this was just a mistake either due to copy/paste issues or, at an extreme reach, possibly the poster's own particular dislocation in time.
In either case, there is no known method to travel backwards in time without harnessing negative energy, and we are not quite there yet on the tech-meter of our current civilization level.
Without further updates from the contest host I can only either:
(1) Predict that he actually meant the 14th of October.
or
(2) That he is actually floating dislocated in time and meant the 14th of last month.
While two possibilities may infer a 50/50 probability ratio to some, this is actually not the case.
Allow me to explain:
I could have either arrived home tonight to find my house as I left it in one case, or it, and everything in it, could have spontaneously turned entirely into beryllium while I was away in another case.
While there are two possibilities on the table here, the probability distribution concerning each is not an even spilt by a long shot.
In conclusion: Either the poster made some kind of mistake and meant the 14th of October, in which case no time-travel is necessary, or we are about to experience a water-shed moment in our understanding of the universe.
I'm doubting the latter case, but still remain quite excited about the possibilities inferred... Because, who knows?
Lorenzo, get back to us ASAP!!!
