Some bastard is obviously getting email addy's from this board. I NEVER use my juncmodule.com email addy for "other" things. They got it from my site, this site, or mega-tokyo. I don't even get "penis-spam" at that address.

If somebody is harvesting e-mail addresses from this forum then that's serious stuff.

Rode, could you post the complete headers of the e-mail you got, so I can see where it came from.

You have to be a registered user here in order to get people's e-mail addys, so I can at least delete the account of whoever is doing it.

So, it's pretty obvious now that whoever is behind this little scam is a complete retard under the impression that they're being really clever and cunning with what they're doing. Considering I got an almost idential email with an almost identical comment on a related thread yesterday from 'Guest' logged in as his forum name, suspicions have been hightened. Stop this bullshit now, thanks.

Juncmodule, thanks for posting that link....because that same goofy e-mail I got form phillip westmoreland is from that site...Now, I'm glad I didn't reply...

Personally I didn't think that e-mail was one damn bit funny, and ussaually I have a good sense of humor...But, that email threatned my marriage, career and my sense of security....

Theres some form of karma out there man, and whoevers doing this is gonna get assfucked...

Same here. They called me Flippy, ironically - my email address is the one username totally different, so it was obvious to me all they had done was find my usual name elsewhere on the net. Seeing I only post my email addy at here at NintendoHQ, and Rode had been having some problems, I figured they had just looked here. How very 'leet'.

The reason we "kicking up a fuss" is because it is very likely that it is a member of this board. If that is so I would very much like to see that member get banned. If it is just some lamer sending out random emails then I agree, there is no reason to pay attention to it. These emails are targeted at AGSers though. I pay for my bandwidth, if I can keep someone from abusing it...then I will.

Someone who sent those must be stupid.
Someone who sent those must be a member of the boards.
Someone who sent those must have done something to prevent him/herself from beeing suspected of the prank.
Hackerz.com does have an e-mail service anyone can sign up for so I doubt they would need to edit the "from" field.
They probably used one of those "hacker manuals" because  they didn't do anything significant and are behaving like script kiddies.
English is probably their second language because the grammar in the poem they posted on rodekill's page is awful even by my standards.
They are probably just lonely youths with no social skills as they posted their irc and e-mail adresses on the page they hacked(is that theire way of looking for fiends? Hmmm...)
They've done a very sloppy job.
I see a few patterns.
