Poor joke... poor, poor joke. Maybe we should give it some spare change?
(I'd say that one is about on par :=)

Will this version of it get released Cluey? I've been waiting for it for years :D Good to see something happening.

Considering how many people are left, after PixelPerfect people should start some resolutions. That way it isnt left up to lo_res to put it all together slapdash in 200 words.

Not remembering it doesn't make it any better or nullify his point. And did you not read back and make sure your section flowed?

General Discussion / Re: Can TV make you cry?

Another show that made me cry is Friends, but only ever stuff with Chandler. His stuff with Monica and his character developments always seemed the most real. Actually, a lot of other stuff in it made me cry, but mostly Chandler.

If anyone is on their high horse Emerald it's you. I was next in line for the story after Vince and it was your part that kinda got everything snaggled, when I read through FSi's part the shift in POV was a bit rough, but I got that it was someone else, and when you started it did feel like you hadn't read the previous part closely, or even with mild interest.

I cry fairly easy in movies and watching TV, but the one that gets me the most is MASH. It always makes me cry, especially Hawk Eye's dear dad eps. Yeah, I'm a big softy.

Settle Pixel, this is a fun activity. You can tell the story was muddled because of confusion, but the confusion provided some interesting opportunities story wise. It's heading in a very mysterious direction. And also LGM's direction.

As presented to Cthulhu eater of worlds... Soylent Blue!

Is it the same as the story? Because I liked the ending in the story. I thought it all felt kinda right considering the tone of the whole thing.
--EDIT: Hmm... just checked on wiki, seems it had a different ending. The movies one sounds interesting, but I'd really have to see it to know if it works effectively, but it does seem kinda... cheap, like it defeats the point of what he was doing.

And try elaborating your point more, relying purely on sarcasm seems kinda juvenile.

It's very simple: Religion doesn't kill things - people do. Do you know how many millions of Muslims haven't blown themselves up, and have no intention of doing so?

It's like the IRA. Thirty years ago, people looked at Ireland and said "OMG, it's a warzone down there - they're all killing each other on the streets." It's not true. The IRA are a group of dickhead terrorists, they are not the actual Irish Republican Army (in case you were wondering). Al Jazira are a group of dickhead terrorists - they don't represent Islam.

Just like Eric Harris and that other douche don't represent atheism...

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. But the thing is about Scientology is that it is their religion that gets people killed. They don't believe in medications, and many people with mental illnesses end up committing suicide because they can't handle life without their medications. It's not just the few black sheep, it's the whole religion that believes this. A few of the people in Jonestown didn't believe they needed to commit suicide, does that mean the religion was any less dangerous?

Yeah, and atheist killed some people, not saying it isn't a tragedy, but Scientology is an organization that has killed and will continue to kill. We aren't saying they deserve to die, just that people need to know about what they do. And try elaborating your point more, relying purely on sarcasm seems kinda juvenile.

Happy valentines day! I love you all so very much! Unfortunatley the only thing I'm giving you is crabs. Anyone got anything special planned today? I'm just doing a dinner and movie, seeing Definatley, Maybe, the Ryan Renolds film. Nothing exciting, but it's nice :=

I'm reading a few things at the moment, as I tend to do. At the moment I'm reading Steinbecks the Grapes of Wrath, it's really a magnetizing read just because of his prose. The writing just has this really good feeling about it, you want to keep reading just to enjoy the words, let alone the story, which is also quite good. I'd suggest you all read it.
Also reading Stephen King's Needful Things, to add to my bookcase alongside the other 10 King books I have. I really love King's writing, even though some stories are kinda overstretched (such as with Bag of Bones) but Needful Things has some really interesting characters and never feels like the story is being taken too far to justify more pages. I'm actually reading....5 other books right now, Clive Barkers The Damnation Game, two awful horror books Crooked House and Spectre, as well as Catch 22 and Burroughs Junky. But I'm reading those a lot slower than King and Steinbeck so I'll write about them in another post.
