Alright.... so I'll start the game, menu works fine, intro plays fine, game loads fine... then it'll crash... sometimes. Other times it'll work, only to crash a bit later. I've installed the XP patch and stuff, but this really sucks, i want it to work.

Never mind. Got it working thanks to rescouring one of the links provided. Cheers.

I just recently re-installed SS2 as well. I load it up and the menu works, the intro works, but then the game crashes. Which really really really sucks. I've googled about the place but haven't managed to find a good solution. Any help?

Oh, I also listen to the Vampire Bloodlines soundtrack, apart from the menu track, because it's just a knockoff of Massive Attacks Angel. So i listen to that instead. Other than that though it's a great soundtrack.

Monkey, if you feel you have too much money, give it to me, I'm broke as I haven't got a job yet but other than that I suggest you do put it in a savings account, although you could move out now, it'd be better to let it grow so you set yourself up for further in life, and move out a little later on.
Also sidenote, we've got enough religious flame threads that have gotten locked after 20 pages, I doubt we need another so try keep it cool guys.

I listen to the Quake soundtrack a fair bit, it was done by Trent Reznor and it's really cool. I also have the Hitman: Blood Money soundtrack, as someone before said, Jesper Kyd is a magician.

Emerald, Deftones totally aren't emo. They are just alternative metal. Anyway, Chino was better with Team Sleep.

I think, like you said, that Gang of Four largely influenced Emo. They were part of the post-punk/hardcore scene very early on, which led to Fugazi a little later around the time it began transforming into the first generation of Emo. Because of this I'd say they were emo, or at least inextricably linked. Lemme put this in a metaphor so I can properly express what I'm trying to say. Gang of Four were old black guys, and first generation Emo was Elvis 

Post punk and emo kinda blend at points. It's difficult to seperate it all really.

That would be really interesting to see Andail, and obviously there's people that want to write. Maybe we should give it a shot, I'd put my name down.

Old emo was kick ass, like Gang of Four, Fugazi, Cursive, stuff like that. There is different brands of emo really. Generations actually, first, second and unsurprisingly third. Third is that make up wearing whiney MCR crap.

I second Vinces idea for teams, that sounds pretty cool. Be interesting to see how the stories vary.

The idea is to have fun, but having someone oversea the continuity might be a good idea, thus making it easier for each writer, and also, you know, to prevent grumbling.

I got pretty darn confused, but most of that got resolved. I'm just glad I got to write some heart eating goodness. Thanks Andail, and everyone who participated.
