General Discussion / Re:Why I'm not using AGS

That's Harry Potter, if my eyes don't decieve me...

I'm meant to be doing schoolwork and all, but there's more proof. I think it would be crazy now to say that there isn't some kinda Disney/Warner Brothers conspiracy, and that any of us going to survive when the revolution comes. Get outta here quick..

I think Terran is doing a BTS series, and then other people have ideas for other series...

I'll help with voices for either (gotta record something first though ^_^), and maybe some design/animating if its gonna be a cheers-style game \o/

YUFSTER!  YOU...YOU...TRAMP!  I was in a coma for FOUR years!  FOUR YEARS!  We were supposed to get married!  How come you never told me you married Chris?!  HOW COULD YOU?  I had feelings -- true feelings -- for you, and this is how you repay me?!  You've broken my heart.  I don't know if I can ever forgive you for your treachery.

Seriously, what you've gone through is nothing compared to Earlwood. Once, there were these ninjas, and I don't know the story exactly, but it was horrible. You guys should appreciate him more. I mean, we can hardly have this kinda atmosphere when the parade starts..

I'm really sorry I started this thread, but I guess I can't delete it all now.
No, this thread is important. It's when we finally realised how important Earlwood is to the AGS community, and proclaimed him King..

This is one for the history books, folks..

Don't worry..
It's better to be safe than sorry.
Earlwood will help you, just like he helped millions of other people. Even CJ, who we all know is immoral, got helped to build his so-called studio...

EDIT:
QuoteNote: I can't support the kids anymore.
M0ds doesn't really care that much...
Why?
Because he knows that Earlwood will always be there to help him. Previously, m0ds would have rolled around crying, or made a kinky island trailer, but now that we have a competent guy in charge there's nothing to worry about...

QuoteCJ please phone me. I'm so sorry. Please please, please...
See?
Earlwood immeadiatley makes it so that CJ and Yufster can get back together, even before his election as AGS leader. He doesn't care that you guys argued with him him and all, he just makes stuff better for everyone, everywhere.
What a great guy..

And harvester, you and your grandma get together and make an obviously greater engine so you guys can stop ranting (your distracting me from more important threads ).

earlwood, you ass-kissing is really becoming boring.
Here is a guy that knows what to do, and knows where his priorities lie. I suggest that if CJ's going to be busy making sweet love to everyone, that we make Earlwood head of AGS. He's obviously the coolest guy here, anyhow. You can tell see the underlying influence behind almost every great AGS game, and I won't allow you hypocrites to insult him. I don't particularly care about CJ, but Earlwood is just cool. If we make him boss, everything will get better immeadiatley.

Wait.

I think, no, I know Earlwood is CJ.

And that really is sad. I've seen ninjas with more honor than this. Having some guy come online and say how great CJ is, just when we're in the middle of insulting him? That's kinda suspicious, isn't it?

And you can't even think of a good name, I mean... they're both terrible. All three.

QuoteI see - well, a mutiny of this scale is punishable in but one way... making the ringleader walk the plank.

No, seriously, that's just not cool. That's the sort of thing that makes people want to spend hours writing flames and shit. I kinda felt sorry for you, but now I'm tempted to steal a time machine just so I can go back 3000 years and find a Trojan that can really kick your ass. The CJ we knew, that could take a joke is gone. Now we just have some psycho freak who thinks he's friends with Aztecman. I know for a fact that Aztecs are way too indy to be around a place like this.

<|Alky|> And form a counter - counter revolutionary movement

<-> No.
<-> Let's hug them and give them candy
<|Alky|> okay

Anyhow, the Anti-Anti CJ Movement has just been formed. I'm not sure exactly what it is yet, but its one step closer to the level of Indy I'm trying to attain...

But I'm still anti-foz. And anti-ninja. And the back to the future theme still rocks..

And all who resist us me get candy..

I'd like to point out that

1)I actually hate him, ninja style. He's cost me like five years of my life, even though I've only used AGS for one. That's how crazy AGS is.

AGS doesn't work. I've left it open for like 10 hours, and there's no game there. I mean, it's like you don't want to help us.....

If something is an adventure game studio, I expect it to provide me with an adequate game-making environment, and start beatboxing whenever I sing Elvis songs.

2)The back to the future theme rocks. You can't hate anyone who likes that song, even if they are ninjas.

3)While I suggested killing CJ and even leaving #ags, I am actually totally pro-ninjas.

But I digress. You suck.

Yeah. I just noticed that. While I was trying to stay neutral in all of this, you can't just f*** with other people's stuff like that. As far as I know, industrial espionage is illegal, and it certainly ain't very nice. In fact, it's actually terrorism.

Well, it ain't really, but there's no reason to do that sorta thing. Under your age, you've put N/A, and I would agree. It's a goddam childish thing to do.

Well, that's assuming it was Foz that did it. But that NSA agent my psychologist said that I shouldn't come up with conspiracy theories, and reading between the lines hurts anyhow...

Plato got nothin' on this guy ^_^

Wow, nice idea.
TV series exist in flash, and since AGS is actually easier to use once you've drawn the characters, I don't see why it couldn't be done. There are lots of possibilities, and while I figured out it isn't the best way to do news/talk programs (AGS E-Zines and AGS Shows are much easier to make), weekly shows would work well. If you need any help, I'd be willing...

I am almost sure it is Dr. Ubbermann...

I dunno who´s "your" Zimmermann, but for me, Henrique Zimmermann is famous sefardí reporter, correspondent for Spain in Israel... :)

I don´t think his grandpa worked for the nazis...  ;D

Another Zimmerman was German ambassador to Mexico during World War One. Nothing to do with Atlantis, Indiana Jones, or...well...anything... ^_^

Heh cool. I just had to shoot my sister for selling my collection of Tintin books...

Anyhow, I liked

6 Day Assassin
The Iraqi Paradox [Heh, I liked my game, even if nobody else did ^_^]

Can somebody mail me a savegame near the ending? I want to see these endings, but sadly no longer have FOA savegames, or the time to replay it. I'm pretty sure that the version I played had both Indy and Sophia going off into the sunset. And she should survive, due to the fact she makes an appearance in the Action-Adventure game Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, in 1947...
