Anyone? The premise is very much like Wik and the Fable of lost souls, albeit the collecting and puzzleing is exchanged for brainless destruction.

If you're interested in what I can contribute graphics wise, check out www.riotamot.com.

But if the desire to live is wired, the wiring can be malfunctioning, and not even finding Jesus will help you then. Kinda sucks..  :=

Remember the ninja rope in Worms? Well I suddenly got an idea to make a simple gung-ho action game of swinging, dodging and destructing. My knowledges in C or C++ is simply inexistant and I seek YOU with the lust to help me write the engine. I would take care of all graphics and other conceptual design issues (but if you're eager to participate in those fields, I won't shunt you away). The game is to be simple and focused on good arcade gameplay.

Mills: You misunderstood me. I meant that Atheism is the antithesis of Theism, and Agnosticismis is avoiding the question so to speak. But to the rest; I thought the core issue of agnosticism was the refusal to believe in neither God(s) nor Atheism, but Wikipedia proves me wrong - only the knowledge is unattainable, the beliefs are not.

"and are also used to describe those who are unconvinced or noncommittal about the existence of deities as well as other matters of religion." - my view. Quoted from WP.

It's rather dark. I like that you've turned away against classic depictions of darkness using blue and purple hues, but you might need a lightsource to clarify the background a bit. Perhaps from the window and through the doors cracks. The puddle is a nice touch composition wise. Perhaps use it to reflect a lightsource from the toppy building.

I don't see why this is sad. And in general it's exactly what I believe. Not necessarily in nothing, but that the something is unknown, so why care?

Atheists BELIEVE that there is no God, and thus has a conviction not unlike religious convictions. The antithesis of theism has neither proof nor evidence of the inexistance of God. Agnosticism however is a pure antireligious form; an antistatement of convictions. We all need something to believe in, and I miss having a reason to live.

Whilst the paintover is soothing for the eyes, it loses the cold and rugged feel of the original. Depends on what one strifes for,but I kinda preferred the original. Looked more hostile and eerie.

I think stylewise your image is ace. Very oldschool depicting. Perhaps adjust the saturation on the blue building, it is tough for the eyes.

The inconsistencies of religion starts whenever someone fail to comprehend the symbolic values of said mythos and read it letter by letter as truths. Religion is our pre-Freudian psychology - ways to understand ourselfs and eachother. It helps us through individual crisis and lets us fathom the ways of our mind. As said example of grief, where our mind struggles and beats said crisis with help from "the holy ghost". Now, the holy spectre is not an actual entity but rather a part of our own (commune?) psyche. All scriptures works as symbolic tales that speaks about plain philosophy - how to live our daily lives as swell as possible. It is not what you believe in, it is that you believe that matters.

Sadly, I am an agnostic and believe in nothing.

You should remove the horizon and have the sea continue onto the top of the pic. Since we see the cliff so much from above, it seem odd that the vanishing point lies so close.

I'd remove that horrid glass filter from the background. It steels the attention.

You must be careful with the coloring to maintain the flow within the picture. I would skip the rough contours or stylize them further.

I think the perpective may be a little too exxagerated for a ingame walkcycle, but it would work wonders in a cutscene. What will it be used for?

Tracing photos CAN be efficient, especially rotoscoping animation. But when altering the image as such, you are better off using it as reference alone.

The picture was rather small so maintaining facial traits was impossible. What I did was adjusting the pose a bit, trying to maintain dynamics (the S curve in her torso+ass), and also stylize the body. Most effort is laid on the face, since it worked like a portraitof someone. Usually, never add to much detail to the rest of the body, even so they incorporate feline traits - a portrait should always focus on the face and the body should never steal the attention. You have that in most types of anime, where the body is simple yet effective, and most focus lies on the facial traits of each character.

Your body has some unneccessary "texture" which could be better off smoothed out and the contours are a bit dodgy.Try to get your contours as smooth as possible tomaintain dynamics within your piece. They are probably the result of using a mouse to color with.
