I must say that this game sounds and looks deliciously interesting to me! Looking forward to its release.

(Anyway I really wonder how you got the name Gottfried, was it purely random? Or was it out of inspiration? It sounds awfully familiar but I just can't put a finger to where I saw it before)

Your collab comes out with one of the best short games AGS has seen, at least I feel.
They're short, but really meaningful and thought-evoking.

The voice-acting was great.
Did Calin write a script beforehand or a backstory? The speech of the characters resemble poetry which seems as if a lot of thought was put behind it.

Liked Hope, but this is even greater.  ;D

Interesting stuff.
Hope it'll come out soon. Reminds me of Prodigal for some reason.

Suppress it. And even if you can't, then just suppress it.

In any case, I would recommend that you should go for some conditioning, considering the speed you would need to run from the *ahem* facks  ;D who give you dirty looks.

Yeah, who in the world is this man?!?!?!?!???  := <=====

Try this link. It worked 5 minutes ago.

Hey Leon, thanks for the link. It still works. Anyway Frodo, try not to open the links in new tabs or windows. Click on the links directly. They lead you to the download. Thanks all.

Edit: Played Mordy 2, it was excellent. Thanks all for your help. ;D

This is not really old, but to me, it's missing.
I'm looking for Mordalles' 'Mordy 2: The Mirror of Truth', a game with 3d-rendered graphics and other features which...
Never mind, I'll spare the comments. Just wanted to play it very badly for a long time already, but the download link on BBC doesn't lead me there.

Anyone?

Are the nominees all pre-decided?
I'm asking this only because there seems to be only a few in the same category over and over, namely McCarthy, Shifter's Box and Marionette, which I seem to see over and over again; best game, best character, best story etc.

Well, the games are surely a cut above the rest, but it's almost like dominance. :o

Receiving news that it is becoming a commercial release really makes me want to cry T.T
Okay, I'm joking here. ;D

Anyway, this just means that I'll have to fork out good money for a good game I have been waiting good time for.

Like many AGS newcomers, Yahtzee's the man.
His crazy creations with the most whacked storylines were the first AGS games I played.

Namely, 5 days a Stranger.
A game I think I will never forget; the immersing gameplay, atmosphere and storyline. A piece of art.

How many Princess Marians do you think you've got in you, anyway?
I'm going to guess none anymore. ;)

Ha, I'm definitely one of the newer ones here. 31 posts (T.T) and this makes the count 32.
Well, like life and everything that involves people, there are different generations in these processes.
People age and they move on to do things they believe are greater in life. That might explain why oldies go missing after awhile. I was writing to Greg from Herculean Effort Productions (THE APPRENTICE 1 and 2, OH HOW I LOVE IT! ;D) and he was talking about having a proper career. A career rarely stems from making indie games. This also explains why Greg and his partner might never move on to make The Apprentice 3; they do not want time wasted on making the game while they could devote the time to earning money and feeding their family. They move out of indie gaming and consequently move out of the forums.

Well, for me, AGS is a whole new world of discovery. I have got many other things I want to learn from this forum and so I'm not losing interest in it yet. Well, what the future holds, I obviously don't know. Maybe people do lose interest over here over time. In my opinion, it's all about a generation shift. They move on and a new generation of indie gamers move into the forums. Cycles, I think.

The new generation of game makers with AGS are amazing.
I mean, it's 2 days, and though it is definitely not the best game I think I'll play this year;
It's good.
A game, made in 2 days, enjoyable in such a way, is really great. It really made my day.
Excellent job.

Haha, great CG short.
You should also watch his Podcasts on how he made it.

Like the pidgeon alot, though I think it deserved what it got in the end ;D (sadistic anti-animalist)

General Discussion / Re: iPad

FSi's picture was hilarious.

Well, I'm not going to review or criticise a single crapsh*t about the iPad cause' I'm not the man for it, but one things for sure:
I'M NOT BUYING IT.
I just don't think its as good as the other Apple gadgets.

Good job with the game. Was putting my tabs on it as the only Star Trek game I was really looking out for. It was good, I think, especially for a first. The ending was more hilarious than hair-standing (like those creepy horror games) which I felt was rather awkward.

Other than that, keep up the good work. Looking forward to Part 2.

One of the best games I have played, though the graphics and art are not excellent.
Immersing storyline, and an atmosphere which really captures my full concentration.

The many psychological concepts in the game are also very thought-evoking, and left my awaking in the middle of the night, just to want to play the game again.

Kudos.

Very promising, looks to be a winner.
Demo was good as well, and it really made me want more of the game.

Hope to see the release ASAP.

Looks good, and the photorealistic effect sounds quite something to look forward to.
Just trying to picture how the main character looks like moving about. (Then we'll really see how photorealistic it is, huh  :P)

Talked to Yahtzee, and he said that setting up a freak hangout place which claims to be a bar-video game centre hybrid was his lifetime ambition, and that he would always do such things over creating point-and-clicks which actually made him famous.

I really want to go there, and I plan on going there real soon. Sounds whacky, sounds fun.
Only thing is that I miss Yahtzee's insane creations. They're insane, but they're still so good and addictive. 5 cups.

General Discussion / Re: Get to know william

When in the world did 'get to know william the scary red poop' become 'discussing about Guybrush's boons and banes'?
