Talked to police, lady in library, and the officer by taped entrance.  What now???  I need to investigate but those are the only places I can go and I don't know what to do.

You missed one item in Q's lab. Left to the chemical things there's a mortar that you can use to make the chalk to pulver. That will help you to get the fingerprint.

The currency in the UK (where the story probably - how else can we have Q's lab? - starts) is not Euro.

Think about how you as a person manage to wake up every morning to go to school / work.
Then watch your inventory again... I think you have to fiddle around a bit with one item there... I had to at least.

Leave the green water in a useful place and get some fresh water... and you should heat the water before you put the tea inside.

i love this game but I'm stuck.....
you can play either elandra, or davy,...

with elandra i cant get her off the hover craft,
my inventory items are:
-hammer-pliers-analysis of liquids machine-pocket knife
-cactus-fruit-fishing pole-skull

with davy..i  dont know what to do next,
my inventory items for him are:
-spell book-language spell-sleepytime spell-smell nice spell
-run hot spell-ice spell-dead aliens pocket knife
-helmet with water in it-burlop poncho

Can someone help it out, i would really appreciate it:)

Once Elandra is on the hovercraft, you don't need to do anything else with her... (you'll come back to her later on)

About Davy... did you meet the (little) alien walking around? You need to give him something to make him sleepy. There should be some leafs in the first hut (not the one with the monster) to help you.

Yes, this seems to be the same game. I recognize parts of it in both your entries.
Though you probably did not get the comb from the bartender.
About the pipe: You have to... well... use force to open it...
