You can pick up a camcorder for cheap. The Flip is 100 quid for their nicest camcorder. It records in HD and stores 2 hours. It is by no means professional but you can pick one up for 50 quid if you wanted to and see if that meets your needs. DSLR is the way to go but you don't want to buy something you don't need and spend a ton of money on it(or maybe you do, I don't know you).  I can't vouch for a camcorder's green screen ability but it could probably take care of most of your needs for lots cheaper.

Most places want you to buy their wares, obviously. I can't imagine that this company would turn down the opportunity to sell you something especially if you are offering to pay them to ship it to you. A lot of times the company doesn't want to ship overseas because it is not worth the price of shipping and they don't have an overseas market.

If the company says no to your request then find another company or someone on e-bay selling the drinks who is willing to ship. I can't imagine this is the only distributor for this beverage.

The rocks look great. You made some very good changes from the original. The animated version shows me that you are putting together one heck of a good game.  I would add some more rocks sprinkled throughout the woods. I like the look of your rocks and they would help break up the bushes, trees and grass.

I think some of your problem (and a lot of games' graphics problems) with grass could be resolved by spacing it some, having some of the grass thicker and some thinner. Grass doesn't normally grow in thick patches and then nowhere else around it. If you add in some sparse grass, lightly textured through the sandy beach it would make the patches of grass look more real. You did some very nice changes from the original to what you got now. I was going to advise you to make the tree look more real where it meets the ground by the front door. You fixed it slightly by adding in grass. It looks a lot better but maybe some roots re-emerging from the ground next to where the tree enters the ground might add a good effect. The background in general and picture altogether look great.

I think you did a good job with the black and white pic. Good luck on your comic. I would add some more shading into your picture and future pictures. The background contrasts sharply against the person, it looks to me like the background was made on the computer with perfect lines and the girl was drawn by hand(on the computer). If I were you I would try to add more personality into the background and sketch it by hand.  That is my only criticism. It is looking real good and I can't wait to see the finished product.
