Thanks, Citizen. Although, I think actual nominations put Hobo and myself in a tie situation, and if Hobo wants to run the next one, it is okay by me. My competitions tend to crash and burn, badly! If not, I'll try to come up with something, soon.

It wouldn't be the first time my math has been off, but I've recounted and still can't make it come out that way. Are you including siliconangels single vote?

My end tally was:

jwalt: 10
Hobot: 6
siliconangel: 3
Cassiebg: 2

Please let me know where I'm making my mistake. Though you're both generous and gracious fellows, the stickler in me would like to be sure I've got things straight.

Congratulations to jwalt, creator of the Sneakiest Bunny Beast!

And thanks to all entrants for braving what Tabata rightly points out was a pretty tough shape.

Siliconangel, feel free to vote for your #1, #2, and #3 choices. Sorry, I should have made that clearer in the above post.

Excellent, what say we push the deadline out until the 15th, and not just because I'm too work swamped to make the trophies? Any opposed?

A smashing entry, jwalt, timely as it is clever.

Should the deadline be pushed out? Any other takers on this?

Alright you slippery little devils, the Coloring Ball has dropped.

Fill in the shape below with The Sneakiest Beast.

Is it the tip-toed sloth? The skulking skunk? The spurious sprite-ripper?

We'll soon find out!

You are free to flip or rotate the shape as needed, use all the colors you want, and color the outline
(but woe to he who sets one pixel outside the outline).
All entries should be submitted by April 10th.

Top three will slink away with the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Sneaky.

What an honor to be counted amongst such fine entrants. I vow to uphold the Fists and Fetters faithfully.

Thanks much Nicky for hosting an excellent round.

Take a look, it's in a book: Reading Rhino (and his bibliophile bird buddy)

Voted. A fun bunch of games, each had such a distinctive take and mood, from serious to silly.

HanaIndiana: I loved the art and lightheartedness.
Billbis: Very cool story. I was wondering where things were going and the reveal at the end was fantastic and really added a dimension to the Mags theme.
Symbiosis: Excellent creation of a moody world.
Dmitry Stefantsov: I had a little trouble following the concept in places but that may have been a translation thing. Would love to see what you'd do with more time to polish.

Nice work everyone!

Behold; the Pinch of Sugar!

Whether it's the tantalizing taste of chalky little treats or the lure of little red letters, no sweetie-craving-sweetie can resist candy conversation hearts. This box packs a sugar-free surprise: Cutie Clutching Claws!

Fairly simple approach for UNGA needs MUMBA.

Retain the fun cartoon style of the game, and show the immensity of Unga's dilemma.

Looks like a blast, sign me up please.

Awesome, thanks much for calling those out. When I get back so time I'm going to fix the shoulder, shade the body, and figure out what to do with the glasses, since I'm not sure weather to fix them in the straight on view or the 3/4.

I'd really appreciate some feedback on my main character. This is my first ever attempt at a turnaround, and I'm wondering what issues/weirdness might be apparent. Would also appreciate critiques of the overall design direction.

Thanks!

Hello!

I've finally resolved to stop dithering and try my hand at making my own game. For the last few months I've been going back and replaying some of my favorite classic adventures, as well as filling in a lot of the gaps in my play history and trying out a lot of the really inspiring indie adventures that have come out in the past half decade.

I hope to be helpful to others as I'm able and chipping in on others projects were I can.

My goal for my first game: Don't get over ambitious, keep it simple, avoid attempts to 'innovate' at all costs, and learn learn learn. I figure I've got a few rotten games I have to get out of my system before I start making anything worthwhile.
