@cat Could the rule about not voting for your own (or your team's) games be also included on the voting page itself? Otherwise people may miss that information if they don't follow the forum thread.

Also, congratulations to the nominees!

Ahh :) Thank you very much for the explanation. I enjoy looking at these WIP types of GIFs, I feel like I learn a lot just by observing them. Good luck with your project - it caught my interest not only because of its character and visual style, but also because of the intriguing premise.

Nice work. The main character sprite is quite original with its androgynous look (and kind of cute).

Also, do you use something like Google SketchUp to set up your backgrounds? I'm curious about your work process, looks pretty interesting.

The plot outline has definitely piqued my interest! Looking forward to finding out more about this project.

Wonderful, Joel. I'm really glad that this has worked out for you! You've got my full support and I'm ready to help in any way I can :)

Congratulations to the winners and nominees and big thanks to the organizers! This year's ceremony was great, I loved the red carpet and other nice features (such as the songs). Looking forward to the next year already.

I've enjoyed the last two episodes immensely (including getting the same fit of laughter as Ben when Dave made that… that sound effect at the end of episode 69). And the episode 68 was wonderfully nostalgic. All in all, great listening material. Thanks, both of you (and Dave, of course)!

Wow, you're fast :) Thanks for your answer! I should probably take a look at Adobe Audition then.
Wish you luck with your game - I love unique fantasy worlds that go against the flow. It reminds me a little of the "underground" games/interactive movies made by The Residents during the 90s (not that much because of the artwork, but because of the general feel).

Very interesting project, Bavolis - not just graphically, but also in terms of music and sound design. I've enjoyed listening to those strange voices, the volume level is probably the only thing that I would tamper with. May I ask what software do you use to edit the voices and what is your workflow (what effects do you apply, etc.)?

Shouldn't we be able to specify which character are we nominating for Best Character? This feature was available during last year's nominations. Now is probably too late to fix this though (yep, I have discovered this issue just a day before the deadline :))...

Very nice indeed!

Regarding the latest episode - well, I've discovered your podcast when it already had almost 50 episodes, so I was a bit behind… However, I've listened to every single one of them chronologically (and now I'm finally able to listen to the current podcasts). Not sure how many obsessive-compulsive people like me there are, but yeah, it happens :)

Keeping my fingers crossed for the publishing deal, Joel! This game is very promising and you (and your talented team) have done a lot of great work on it. Unfortunately, original deadlines are hardly ever made. :) Wish you a lot of luck with everything - keep going!

I have planned to learn kanji, but unfortunately, this plan always got pushed back. I would certainly love to help out with the testing of this game.

Very nice! I've played the OROW games and I'm glad that more of the storyline is going to get revealed. The dystopian atmosphere seems to be strong in this one already.

Technobabylon is certainly one of my AGS favorites - very unique, intelligent, and atmospheric series. The new artwork is stunning and it's nice to see that Dave is helping this project reach its full potential. It deserves to get into the hands of many, many more players. I'm going to spread the word about it, for sure (and, of course, buy the game when it comes out).

Yay for another successful AdventureX! Looking forward to any materials from the event.

Congratulations again! It's really a nice little game.

josiah1221: The game doesn't include any voice acting at this point, so don't worry, it's not an issue on your side.

Thank you very much, Cat, it works perfectly now. :)

I just wanted to point out that the latest (December) Pick of the Month game -  Aidas Strange Christmas - can't be downloaded. It was hosted on Game Front, but when trying to download, it says that the file can't be found, and there seem to be no alternative download options. I have already reported it on the game page, but as this title is quite visible right now, I thought I would also post about it here.
