Hi all,

I'm considering bringing in a director to help with my project.  My thinking is that working with someone who has experience directing film/movie projects will help bring skills I don't possess:
- Scene layout/lighting
- character direction
- camera positions/movements
- cut scene direction

Does this sound like a reasonable idea?  Has anyone had experience working with a director on a game project or know how to go about finding/working with one?

Any help/opinions would be much appreciated

Cheers,
Simon

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has had experience in sourcing beta testers?  Previously I've used friends and family - but with my latest project I'm thinking I'll need to find a bigger "cohort" of testers.

I came across this site http://www.alphabetagamer.com/ which looks promising.

I'd love to hear opinions/advice from anyone who has faced the same issue.

Cheers!

Hi All,

I'm trying to find adventure game creation tools available that perform the following:

- Aid in visually creating and defining a story (linear or more complex, non-linear ) by stringing together dialog (maybe a graph-like structure?)
- Allow events to be represented somehow along with the dialog
- Help convey/define the story in a way that allows the game designer/story teller convey the story/game logic to the programmer
- And, most importantly, expose problems/bugs in the story.  eg. what if character A speaks to character B when she doesn't have a spoon - but this scenario is rare and hasn't been dealt with (has been missed) in the game.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Cheers!
