This is the last bump I am doing,

We had wonderful chats in our #ags Discord channel, and everyone is still welcome to join.

Thanks everyone who has stopped by! I don't want to over-bump or over-post the invite.

Sounds pretty awesome, tigris!

Damn, you have a full-time Let's Player?  That's crazy.  I've got to get all my gamedev pistons firing on Neofeud so I can get it shipped and on your Twitch!

Good luck with the community building.

We get requests very often. Walkthroughs of their games are in demand by indies - it's a fun things to do and helps support the indie scene.

Thanks for the kind words:)

Thanks for letting me know, I may have made a mistake in choosing the right section.

I will be more mindful in the future. CL it is.

I've had this image lying around for a while in my old art folder. I don't know what game it will be implemented in. But, I think, it's a promising artwork that I might use as part of an intro scene for an adventure game. It looks like a distant, abandoned kingdom in the middle of nowhere.

Painted in Photoshop. Completely original, from imagination. No references, aside from brief glances at castles and mountains, were used.

You can now join the AGS channel on Discord which was started for the following reasons:

  1. Meet other AGS developers to talk about making adventure games, story and character development, technical aspects, and art of course.
  2. Get your adventure game play-through'ed on YouTube and live on Twitch.tv (we have an official member doing this almost full-time for all new games)
  3. Learn from others, or tell your story and inspire other game developers to make games.

If you have an AGS adventure game you're working on you'd like to be play-tested, just mention it in the chat.

Oh, we started a Discord, because apparently Skype has a limit of only 300 members. But we're keeping both, because some still prefer Skype. Also, we are not affiliated with AGS directly, we're just a game development group who loves making games! And adventure games is my personal favorite genre, this is why the channel was created.

You're welcome to join and meet other AGS developers there.

Small indie dev Tigris Games is hosting a gamedev group chat on Skype.

Lately, we've had talks about having AGS developers join to talk about making adventure games and share WIP screenshots.

So far, we have 176+ members and growing each month. This could be good for letting more game devs know about AGS.

This link opens in-cloud / Skype client: https://join.skype.com/Bl5BNT1ujtQ7

We're also on Discord, if you're not into Skype:
https://discord.gg/nsXbPnX -- Link directly to the AGS channel.

Who is this for?

* meet other game developers for networking
* WIP screenshots on your current projects
* Steam Green Light and KickStarter projects are welcome
* promoting your Twitch channel, game demos  or published work.
* Hosted and moderated 24/7
* all experience levels are welcome
___

We're all just a bunch of friendly game devs, and quite a few regulars who like to share our gamedev work and encourage each other to make games

Who is this for? Most of us are pretty much indies who are into following aspects of game dev:

* C#, C++
* Unity and UE game development
* 3D modeling (blender, maya, zbruåsh)
* opengl/c++ programmers
* voice acting (actors and actresses)
* show us your Green Light game, and we'll think about yes-voting it.
* primarily, it's about game development, promoting and sharing your work, and experience.

What to expect?

* indiedev banter
* inspire gamedevs by showing your work or be inspired by others
* share your current creation, art, screenshots
* meet other dedicated indies, we're all here literally making games 24/7
* share your green light game
* exchange marketing experience

We hope to see you there!
