Sorry for my bad habit for digging graves. But I suppose that this type of archeology little bit better than creation new earth holes. Have any news from this ancient place? What about idle animation speed?

Thanks for good advice. I use it. I'm also little bit scared about register. In many examples of code in network people write names of objects and other important names differently, like:

oPurseOfGold
oPURSEOFGOLD
opurseofgold


And I mentioned that at least Views sensitive to this. What can you advice in this case? Sorry for offtopic. We can erase my questions and answers after to save clearness of forum.

Yes. I'm link event with room. I make a cloning of my previois operation when all works fine. Insead of one case. Where I put code into clipboard, and paste it.
When I'm try to use different functions of room to call start the event - never happening. Until time when I repeat this code by my hands. Only after this animations start working. I don't know why is happening. Have no idea I can describe normally. I mean... on the correct version of english language.

Thank you for quick answer. As I understand original man who made the post have different problem. Sorry for non-understading or wrong understnding.

I have same problem. In case when I type code - all works fine. In case if I'm paste same code (absolutely same) from clipboard function... I haven't see results of my work in the game. My operational system is Windows 7. Version of engine is - AGS Editor .NET (Build 3.4.0.12), v3.4.0, September 2016

I spent half of the day (sorry, i'm not a coder, just artist) to understand what's wrong with this code. Why in the first sceen of my game all works fine, but on the second screen same code isn't work. Answer is - copy/paste. When I type same code manually all start to work. Honestly I can't understand what is this. Maybe I am cursed? Now I can see that i'm not mad.

First of all, thank you for this template Ghost. Would be rude from my side asking to add some actions and events in demo-scene?

My offer is add some events in this template. To best understanding what exactly people can create with AGS and this template in one time. It's for a newbies, of course. Experinced coder and developer no need this. Would be nice to fill room (or rooms) by objects, opportunity to combine these objects, where characters can speak & etc. Not a game, of course, but the demo of two rooms, for example.

I can describe why I'm asking for this. Some people, unfortunately, have a different skills, but sometimes (very often) in list of this skills is not including skill of coding. I spent lot of years to learning how I can drawing normally, writing & etc, but this 17 years in game development industry isn't bring me understanding of code. In case where I see working examples of code I can repeat it, analizing and create something like. But in case I have only list of functions of engine/template, I cant understand how this work. I can offer the barter, for example. Somebody deed for this template additional code. Code of events, situations and etc, I'm cooking well smelling graphics.

AGS site have after this nice example of "game" (more nice than we have now), I have code, which I can understand and can repeat in myself game. Sorry in case if I write wrong words in wrong place.
