Hi,

Congratulations on the release, I've been waiting for this since...well, around the 29th June 2009 I think :P

My download speeds from IndieDB were all over the place so I've thrown up another mirror at the below link, I'm afraid it's not got a swanky page like IndieDB but hopefully it will help even if it is purely a secondary mirror :)

Heroine's Quest Installer Download

Heroine's Quest ZIP file (no installer)

Also I'd have gladly donated if not for the fact that it would be via PayPal...have you ever considered any alternatives? Wepay for example?

Hiya,

This looks great, I'd be interested in beta testing :)

Thanks,

Been looking forward to this one being released for a while so the least I could do is offer an alternative mirror :) Shame I'm at work and can't play it yet though!

I've uploaded it to my website and it can be found here

Thanks,

Scott

Hiya

You can upload it to my webspace (while yours is playing up) via http://www.siliconism.net/ags/psupload.html if you'd like :)

Hi!

I am very stupid with these things (even thought I have just finished game  ;D )  How I can use that thing? I uploaded my game's zip file but what next? Should I have got a link to there or what? I only got the link to download the game straight from there but that doesn't help anyone except myself.

Hiya

When you get the clickable link appear if you right click on it and "copy shortcut" (or "copy link location" for you Mozilla/Firefox users :) ) you can just paste it and it will give you or anyone else the direct link to the download :)

Thanks,

Scott

http://www.siliconism.net/ags/psupload.html

It currently has a 10mb limit per file, if someone wants something hosted which is bigger could you please contact me first :)

I've also disallowed exe, com and bat files from being uploaded so if all games which are executables could be packed first as either zip or rar files it'd be appreciated :)

Currently I am allowing people to view the directory as it is only to be used for AGS related files

I do also use my webspace for various other development purposes and I am in the process of upgrading the disk space and monthly bandwidth allowance...but really lets just see how things go!

Thanks,

Scott

General Discussion / Webspace For Usage :)

Hi everyone

My first ever post here, been a lurker for a while though, I think back when the Hero 6 project very first started! :)

Anyway, I've noticed that sometimes people on here when they want to upload games they either have nowhere to upload it to or have to resort to using spyware infested mean sites :(

I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, but I figure if games are completed people may want somewhere to put them! So I'd like to offer usage of some of my webspace to those who want their games hosted somewhere :) I really enjoy the forum and even though I'm not very good at using AGS (yet!) I'd like to try and give something back in my own way.

If anyone is interested in using this please let me know :) And we can see how it goes from there!

Thanks,

Scott
