It must just be me, because i have the newest version, and it's never asked me what template I want to use.

I select new game, it asks me what resolution I want, and then nothing.

Can you tell me more...

How do you get the gui to work once you've downloaded them. I've tried opening it with AGS, that didn't work, so I opened AGS and tried to import it but it said it wasn't a AGS gui. How do you work it?

I want the status bar to have a text that says what icon I'm using and on what hotspot I'm using it on.

I've already writen @overhotspot@, but what must I write for the icon

I've been making a Lucas style game. Theres a icon bar with 9 buttons:

Close
Open
Give
Push
Pull
Talk to
Look at
Use
Pick up

Does anyone know how to script this.
I dont want them to share the same cursor, each one has a different number, like close is cursor 1 and open is cursor 2.
Thats reminds me of the other problem I'm having. How do you make the interaction button in the room area let you use more than about 8 cursors?
If I know how to make more 'flags' I dont need the script, but if no one knows how to get more interaction flags, please give me the script.

Oh grow up both of you. No one was interested in Space quest 2 as a remake, so I had to do it by myself. Its not easy. To much work for one person!!I lost my passion for that game because of that reason.

I only got up to when Roger was kidnapped and he crash landed in the jungle.

Indiana jones will be good, too bad you'll never be able to play it.

Yes, its true.

I have given up on Space Quest 2 too. Its the worst game to make. I have found an old text adventure and I'm remaking it with graphic.

Its called Indiana jones and the revenge of the ancients.

I'm making an indiana jones game, with the lucasarts style inventory and iconbar. The different actions are close, open, push, pull, look at, talk to, pick up, use and give. I've done everything thats needed, but when I do and object interaction, the flag only goes up to about number 8.

If you know what I'm talking about, please tell me how to make more flags

Is there anyway to make you own custom GUI for when you save or load a game. That gray background is pretty boring. Anyone?

I've also made a start screen. When I tried to write the script, there's always something wrong.

Can someone give me the complete script for this:

Introduction is button 1
Load is button 2
Quit is button 3

And another thing, instead of having save, load and quit in the icon bar, I want an option that goes to a different GUI with Save, load, restart, quit and play.

Sorry, but I just cant seem to get it right. My biggest problem is if I make a GUI, it's always there. I wrote GUIoff, but I think I did it wrong

I'm begging you!!!!

Please. I know its a lot of writing to do for me, but I'm really stuck

In one part of my game, my character walks into a room and gets a mouthful from his boss.

Now I want the boss to leave the room. How do I do that?

When you write:

what does &7 mean? Is it the dialog number?

How do you show the score the player has got.

I'm finding global scripting very confusing at the moment, so any technical stuff needs to be explained slowly. You know, the way you explain things to a five year old. ;D
