Yes I had a few annoyances I wish for them to fix, but so minor compared to everything Monkey Island has returned and is great!!!  I completed the first episode today already, it's really great I can;t wait fro more monkeys on the 15th.

As for the steam games from lucas i bet thier going to be sold , and gifted all over and you'll see steam sales data proving that they sell even today!

/enters the forums after years to critique the new web layout.

I like the pixel characters on the layout, however I only think it works with the few sprites scattered around to compliment the minimalist look, too many looks like clutter.

Heya all, it's been a loooong time since I posted here, i'm surprised i remembered my login info.

Anyway just thought I'd pop in and say hi to those who remember me, if there is anyone left from the days of old.
I have had a link to AGS on my site for as long as I can remember so I hope even though I never made many games that I helped made people more aware of the place, cos it's is the best game making tool in the world.

Now i'm gonna run away into IRC and annopy some people in there..

I don't know if its just me, but do you think you could add a bit of code to the games listing on the website to sort by Release date and Rating (or link the recently added games page from them), in a ddition to alphabetially..  sometimes i wanna just try one of the new short games, without going into the forums and seeing whats games have been posted in there recently , but on the websites game page it starts with such games as 6 day assasin which is quite old (plus i played it already ;] ) and i dont know what the new ones listed there are..

I got to say I LOVE the picks of the month.

Yeah i think it needs something softer in the background , a flute or violin or something airy and soft, kind of unoticable unless your listening out for it , yet ties the rest of it together

Awesome Mouse Gesture System, great work.

Just found some time to play this game, Awesome!

Nice cinematic sequences at the begining, loved the use of FMV, puzzles were not too hard or obscure, and the close up art work was very cool, all topped off with the perfect ending, I loved if from start to finish.

I'm trying to think of any area's where it could be improved, but there are not that many at all, only little things that bugged me like...

Spoiler

...finding that damn stone on the ground (its infuriating stuck in a room) , and the metal detector (I was at least expecting some beeps to help me out to tell me if i was hot or cold), and some camera angles didnt help, i found the tv puzzle by complete accident, i was trying to look at the bed.
[close]

... but as you can see they don't really amount up to 1/1000th of a percentage against this game.

I have played some great AGS games this year and this is a definate contender for the best game of 2005.

congrats

erm... ones i heard recently, cant think of a really bad one though

A man started work at an explosives factory, but he soon got fired.

The trouble with skunks is that they don't have common scents.

My potato gun was confiscated by the United Nations.
They said I wasn't allowed to have weapons of mash destruction.

A couple went to a pet shop and ended up buying a lion (as you do). The shop owner had told them that unfortunately the lion had an odd allergy to wet weather and that raindrops would actually hurt it.
One day the lion was outside when the couple heard cries form the garden. "What's that noise?" asked the man. "It's the lion", his wife replied, "it's roaring with pain."
