yes i did find the diary and finished the game,  but i missed all the easter eggs.  can anyone give me some hints?

i don't know what to do next.  i've made the painting,  the butler said something about something he prapared earlier but i didn't catch every thing he said, and he won't repeat it.  i fixed the sword.  now what?
