I try to speed up the creation of characters for my game. I expect that you can animate 3D characters for basic run/walk animations and choose their clothes in a library. I found avatar studio which is quite good but would like ot know if something else exists. Does someone has an ideaÃ,

I try to build a small game which would be in a house or manor but I would like to spend as least as possible time to design 3D snapshot. For this, I would like to find a software to design house with lot of furniture objects. Unfortunately, those I found are not free and as I want to make a free game, I would like to find one freeÃ,

For Cyreneq, are you sure you are speaking about my game as I don't recognize what you say...Ã, 

For al77, I'm a bit disappointed as I tried on my PC and the sound is on by default but perhaps you don't have the default driver for the audio device and then the system puts it to disable by default and then you have to choose by hand.

If you type WinRar in Google you will be able to download a trial version to unrar the file. That will be the easiest way. Else you can send to me an email and I will email it to you (up to 7MBÃ,  :o)

I just tried this morning and it works well. So I don't get why you cannot download my game. If you send an email to me (jem@melexis.com), I can then email to you the game (around 7MB...Ã,  :o)

Thanks a lot for this direct link that will allow me to gain some times to find another host (I'm already busy with this). One question, when did you download the game as I fixed some bugs in the first release (cf game page). Did you download it after the bugs were fixed?

Anyway, for sweet4grease, I hope it is not too late. Could you send to me the compressed game (recompress the folder where you install it and send it to me by email at jem@melexis.com). Either a corrupt file during download (I got this one time with a software I downloaded) or an issue with my game that could be visible by getting what you installed and not the zip version. Else I don't have so much ideaÃ, 

For MYKAYEL, thanks for this congratulation about my game. It is the first game I posted but built lot of other small games starting on my commodore 128... I don't have a Yahoo ID (I'm not sure the firewall of my working place is accepting it) so discussion should be done by emails... at jem@melexis.com.

Finally it seems that there are troubles with the download link, I cannot anymore get access to microtech site where I store it. Could someone tell me if it is still possible to post to Microtech and how?

Thanks for downloading my game and showing so much interest in playing it.

According to the issue you report, it looks you cannot access a file that is required by the game. So normally when you unzip the game, you should get the executable (BTD.exe) and in the same folder a subfolder named Data. In this subfolder you have several files and they are all needed but the one that is giving trouble in our case is H.t2g. So could you check it is there and accessable by everybody?

I used the rope on the hook and pull on it but it just says there is a board not attached well! But how to remove it!
Moreover when I look to the hole, I see no conversation and also no noise on the boards.

I tried from the main game page and I got no issue to get it. Could you tell me if you tried from thereÃ,  and if the problem still there?
I also check the number of download and since your post, it looks thatÃ,  otherÃ,  people download the game, so it should be ok.Ã, 

Thanks to play my game. I agree with Potter it is a bit hard but I like games like shizm, myst where the focus is on hard puzzles with some mathematics behind.

So thanks to protect me and yes I tried to make a good gameÃ, 

So if you are really stuck, when the game start or even during the game in the inventory, you can get some help by pushing the help button that will allow you to discuss with me and get some helps.

Thanks for playing my game and sad that there is still a bug.Ã,  :'( I developped the text for this game on another editor. As consequence, sometimes the text cannot be displayed because the text showed by the game contains unknown character (not compatible with SCI font type).

I tried to reproduce the failure without success . Could you try to launch the game, start new game and go in this room and not down the sequences of look/interact... that creates the bug.

I will still try on my side to produce it by trying different things but till now no success  .

Thanks to play my game. I fully agree the puzzles are hard and some people dislike this.
But I tried to build puzzles like Myst/Shizm... that I like too and that are hard too.

So if you don't enjoy this type of game you will probably not enjoy mine...

That is the reason I built a included help system to avoid people to be stuck. To get it, when you play the game, right click on mouse till you get the INV icon, then left click to open the inventory and on top you will find a HELP button. Push it and I will appear to help you. you can also click on it when starting the game on the title screen (there is a HELP stickers you can click on)

Instead of giving a full walkthrough, I tried to build a system like UHS (see http://www.uhs-hints.com/) but after a while I saw it was really bad done and I tried to finish my game quite fast to publish it.

Finally I fully agree that the english is awful for 2 reasons:
1) I'm a french guyÃ,  :o
2) I did this help too fast and even in french some sentences would not be really understandable.Ã, 

Hope you will go a bit beyond this and give other feedback for my first gameÃ, 

For the guy that asked where to find the game. Go on the game page and look for beyond the door game in the search system. The game was not available for a while but not it should be solved.

To conclude, for the machine in the kitchen room, you should solve some other puzzles before using it...
