Hi,

V2 has a few minor changes. None the less, you have to meet certain conditions (check all murder scenes thoroughly) before you can enter the Busby house.

Clue:
Spoiler

Did you pick up the gold button from a murder scene?

Also the page text can at times cut off short.. nature of the beast (laugh)

Sorry to say, please read my message carefully . I can't go anywhere back! I must have missed out that gold coin, but I guess your program marks that murder scene as complete - regardless, if taken or not.

Spoiler
I am stuck at Lord Busby's House. The only hotspots are bushes (nothing) and the door; he isn't home and no other location I need to go back to. Inventory or other available info doesn't seem to help.

Spoiler
I'm stuck here, too. Although I can visit one other location: Mitre Square. I'm guessing there's something I can do with the drain, but can't work out what.

I replayed the game, same situation. Can't go anywhere else - neither location nor murder scene. Inventory:
Photos, scarf, crowbar, scalpel, business card, cane tip, quinine, shoulder pad.
The notes stop on page 2, middle of sentence "... Shoulder pad at the murder scene of"

Should be in hints, but well...

I have still trouble with the time machine.
To start with: I have A.D. and B.C displays! I get the first light after:::
AD, Light down at Row 1 column 1, Row 2 column 2; Switch row 1 column 1 and 3 down; Lever 1 and 3 down.
But after that nothings works :(

Completed Game Announcements / Re: Breakage

Hi
I completed the game; outstanding! I really liked it a lot. Given there is no music and sound - even better, it makes the download manageable.
Congratulation to such a good game.

Some observations...
I was able to get the ball from the first statue twice (after I used it).
I was stuck in the castle in the little window; I was able to exit by pressing exit on the ground, but after that the character animations went wrong, changing being assembling items or teleporter flash.
I didn't know I had all pieces to the map; maybe a hint there?

Hi,
I need a larger cloud, suppose I have to show something to the fisherman (I got 2 or 3 so far). What to do with the funny - now working - machine next to the grumpy sleeping alien.
Suppose to do all this first before dealing with the witch?

Subtitles appear if you turn off speech in setup, but that defies the purpose of voice acting. Another annoyance is that the cursor changes into the use tool spontaneously.
I disabled voice and music; never use them in a game; I just like it to be quiet. I would be good if game authors oould make the game download in 2 parts; one without VOX

Anyway a minor bug which disappeared after restoring to an earlier point and replayed.
At the scene in school where the canteen door is boarded I could not change the cursor back to "keys"; neither for the lift button - it stayed "use".

Otherwise, great game!

Is it possible to do a release without sound/music please?
I always turn sound off as I listen to the radio or play at night and a very sllow internet connection prevents to download such big games.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. I got much further then.

Then in the second/third part of the game:
With the love letter and the bouncing ball - other puzzle combinations too, I don't know - have the authors of the puzzles changed??? I looked up the walk-through on and off, it sort of seems to be not so logical anymore as in the beginning. Hmmm.

Overall - I really liked this game, well done.
Thank you.

There is no transporter/mirror thing on this level anywhere.
Are you talking about a different level?

I changed back to the transporter type, nothing came up. Hope the attachment works.

- no it didn't.
LVL03 ... a pipe, a lever with button and a big gap to the right with a hand of the statue in the background.

Am I blind...
The scene has 2 hotpots, 1 button and a pipe.
The workbench 7 buttons on top, 4 on the left to build the thing; I used a head and the climber - a cute picture to the right, but no dials anywhere.

Hi

Can you browse by date so the latest games show up on the first page - the oldest on the last?

Must be there, but I can't find it. We used to have before.

Thanks!

Does Windows7 still support DirectDraw? If not I guess that's the problem. :(

Could be. This program defaults to DirectDraw5. It crashes if I change it to Direct3D9 with a script error.
I guess there is nothing to be done to fix it... :(

Well, I am having a similar problem - but just with one or two of the AGS games - 99% works fine.

The game comes up but the cursor doesn't go anywhere, it might render the start menu. It takes minutes.
Moving the cursor over some areas might display part of the next screen.
No way to play!

I tried Donna, well for the fun of it. Bugger downloaded so much and it is frozen on the the intro.

On Win7 I have tried all compatibly modes.
We have an Acer and a HP.

Pleas PM me, I don't read this forum on a regular basis.

What's blocking you from progressing through the sewer?

He is  saying he has to dig up some intel first on the fortress.

Hi TassieDevil, that is indeed a serious bug. I can't reproduce exactly what you are describing, but things do go weird if you
Spoiler
talk to Boyle after Mika is taken, instead of directly going to the church
[close]
Along with Cat's crash on the end credits this certainly needs a bugfix.

Thanks for your comments on the game page. I like to point out though that you can load a game from the very first screen (the RON-sign) so you don't have to watch the introduction again. Apparently this is not clear, so I'm thinking of mentioning that in a readme file.

No This is a different bug. Sort of takes me back to the first night. Just stepping out of the building; everything was dark (no mention of the time though) before doing anything else. No idea.
I was walking/talikng before for a while after getting the Boyle's key the second time ... :) :(

About restarting, the very very first screen I can't read - it flashes for a split second, the second - the RON sign doesn't allow this.

Never mind, great game!

I have got the sewer open and a 4 digit code. Lots of inventory stuff.
Now what?
