I think it looks very good and gives a nice eerie feeling.

This is a smaller issue, but something about the scale confuses me. Maybe the body compartments (I don't know the technical term) are too big? They seem like they are designed to fit giants. A pathologist would have to be twice as tall as a normal human to extract and observe the bodies in the top row.

Maybe they're designed to fit Americans?

I downloaded the latest version, and uppdated the game.
Had some minor errors that I'll try to solve by myself first,
but be prepared for upcomming questions...

The version I use now ist the same as I used then - as it's
allso from my backup:  V 2.5b

But then I used - as I recall - Windows ME  :P

Now I use XP pro, and I'm not sure what spesifications - or where to find them - you want?

Back in the days I was a proud member of this forum, and this morning I found a old backup copy and re-installed the whole sh...

Now to my problem: I opened the game with the Editor and re-saved it to get a 'fresh' .exe, but when I try to run the game i get the following mesage:

An error has occured. Please contact the game author for support,
as this problem is caused by the game rather than the interpeter.
(ACI version 2.50.395)
Error: load_room: not enough memory to decompress masks.

Contacting the author will only result in me talking to my self,
and that is - as we all know - a sign of madness.

Anyone got any idea?

Best regards /Anders

It looks great, but I agree with Tuomas: there sould either be wall on both, or on none.

I think I'll go isometric.. so much benefits: no perspective, no character scaling... just  two angels to keep in controll :P

Just got this message when I launched AGS...Ã,  The sad thing is that AGS is completly right: I shouldn't be sitting here on christmas day, but it's only been the 25.th for 30 minutes here, and in Sweden the gifts are given on Christmas eve, and my family are asleep, and my GF is in another country, so I guess I'm not that nerdy... or?

Hi there. I want to have an 'Ask First' popup when I press the restart game button.
The script so far looks like this:

if (IsKeyPressed(361) == 1) RestartGame();

I want it to be somelike the quit game option;

Ã,  if (IsKeyPressed(27) == 1) QuitGame(1);

but putting an 1 in the RestartGame () only returnas a 'wrong number of parameters'. I can't find the script part that controlls the 'ask first' for the QuitGame, so I can't see how it's constructed and therefore not copy it to the Restartgame feature..Ã,  Help?

Who is the well-equiped girl in pink at the 'Montage of games' next to the AGS-logo, and what's the name of the game she's in?

I like the 'another world / out of this world' style. I can see that it's under water, but to make it even more obvious, you should try to animate it some how:

Animate the bubbles. (maybe you use some kind of 'reversed' version of the ags snow/rain application to simulate random bubbles)

Animate the underwater-plants so that they whigle in the underwater currents.

Add some kind of ripple in the water so the backgrouns slowly deforms a teeny teeny bit now and then, if you see what I mean.

And, since it's a cave it should be pitch black, but that's just details.. ;)

I agree: The space-station should definitely be tilted like Ashen said

I was just about to post the same thing about the ship ...

The spacestation-thing, I think would look better oriented to the planet it's meant to be orbiting (assuming it is meant to be in orbit), like this:

Other than that, I like it. You could maybe vary the brightness of the stars some more, which should make the field look less 'dense'.

Many years ago I asked about some way of using score as money. i got an working answer then, but i lost it.

I'ts easy to add / remove score if the player buys / earns money, but the thing is how to solve the problem if the score is to low.

like if he tries to buy something that cost $ 100 and only have the score 50. there would be some kind of

'if score < 100 display 'you cant afford that'

any suggestions?

The bar itself should probably be taler, now it looks more like a desk or something. A bar normaly reaches a person to a spot between chest and navel.

The cash register looks good to me.

The thing above the bar with the lights on should probably be lower (if it's supposed to be one of those over-bar-cabinets containing glas and things)

There should probably be some stools infront of the bar, and a 'foot rail' or something.  You could pust some 'neon art' on the walls (stars, vodka/beer/whiskey names or something)

That's all i can think of by now

ok.. I've been away from this place for almost 6 months (or even more) since i got totaly tired of everything. But now I have a 'concept for a concept' for a possible story:

Future, world consisting of big police-states á la kallocain (it's a book) Hero works for the gouverment, and is sent on an under-cover mission to a certain city to find out what's going on whitout being noticed.

but i still don't know what 'going on' means... investigate a murder ? infiltrate some syndicate? kill everything that moes?

The lamps look very good, just like my imaginary bunker-ligts woud look like. The pipes however, should not lay IN the floor, but underneath it to look more realistic. and I would made the bunker lay deeper under the surface

If the chimney is supposed to be on the big house, it should be taller then the huse. the outlines of the tall house's roof looks a little strange to. Else it looks good

The water looks strange. I'd make it more blue. Else it's good work.

But I'm not quite sure what does things at the bottom are, are they crops of some sort?

This image might explain for Tanker what 'the thing at the bottom' is...  ;D

I'd say that FutureWars is the classic point 'n' click -game with the best graphics ever.
Used to playing PoliceQuest, Larry, and SpaceQuest, I was absolutely stunned by
Futurewars graphics. Just look at them..
