Hey guys,

I realise it's been 10 years since I released my last game, so I have decided to start a new ROTN game. The project itself is already half way completed, with all of the scenery and new rooms, objects and inventory items already created and the environment mapped out. The storyline is about 1/4 of the way through as well. Decided to make a nice big game for everyone with some cool new animations and music tracks perfect for creating ambience. There are even quite a few animated backgrounds in this one just to help set the scene.

I decided to go with a different feel for this game, so I decided to make it black and white. I haven't used a plugin filter for this though, instead I have modified all existing images. Because I haven't used a filter, that means all the text displayed is still in colour, and adds an artistic style when placing certain coloured objects in a room. Also, the new graphics I have drawn were first done in colour, then changed to black and white after so I can release all the images for others to use in their own games.

I won't give away any details about the game, but I'm hoping it should be finished by the end of next month (Have been super busy at work this month).

Hey guys, it's been a few years now. I just thought I would stop by (feeling nostalgic) to see if Reality was still being supported, and I can see the forums are still active and the games and resources still available which is great.

Right, that's all I came here for really lol, good to see my games are still up there on the list too  ;)

Maybe see you in another couple of years

That's where I saw it. I was so obsessed with trying to find the complicated answer I just never noticed it (that and for the past couple of days I've been quite drunk).

Thanks for pointing that out, I feel like a total idiot!!!

That's only a script function though, would I have to write the entire conditional as a script?

Here's an example of the interaction editor;

Interact Hotspot
Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, ? Conditional - If a variable is set to a cartain value (Headache, 1)
Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Game - Display a message (10)
Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Game - Go to room at specific Co-ordinates (*I don't want this bit to run after the conditional)

Any help?

While looking through the help docs for something or other I noticed there was a function to stop running commands from within a function. Later on I'd thought I would use this in my game, it could be very useful when using conditionals. After searching for it again I couldn't find it at all, I've spent 2 days searching for something like this but just can't find it.

Basically it's the start of the game and my character has a headache, I don't want him to access any other doors apart from the one leading into the chemist so he can get some aspirin and enter he details like his name and things. I've set variable "Headache" to 1 and when this variable equals one, any door you try to go in to replys "You should get some aspriin blah blah". In the same area of hotspot interaction after the conditional is the enter room changeroom function but I can't end the commands after the conditional, it just enters the room anyway! How can I stop this.

Sorry If it's a bit confusing, i'm not very good at explaining things!
