The year is 2088 and the C.E.O. of one of the biggest oil companies in America has just inexplicably exploded into a bloody pile of goo during a routine business meeting with his fellow executives. With rumours of sabotage spreading like wildfire, the company hires you, a corporate spy, to track down the two-faced mole conspiring against them from the inside. But what starts out as a routine investigation soon turns sinister as you stumble onto a a conspiracy involving shady Government officials, sociopathic supercomputers and many, many more people exploding into bloody piles of goo.

Witness! The aftermath of self-combusting humans!

Experience! The sensation of living in a ridiculously restricted future!

Interact! With tiny-armed computers unable to comprehend human emotion!

Get ready for Mole, in late 2009/early 2010, and stay tuned to this thread for further updates in the coming weeks and months!

Ok, quick update on the game. I'm still working on it, and it's turning out pretty well. Graphics and animations are taking up a lot more time than I expected, mainly due to the fact that I'm terrible at it. But I'm not trying for graphical brilliance here, I'm just trying to make a really funny game. I got some of my friends to play what I got so far, and they seemed to laugh quite a bit, so hopefully it'll be at least mildly entertaining when you get to play it.

Here's one more screenshot from a part of the game where you have to take an anger management class test:

Sounds great, when do you expect to see it ready?

I'm actually pretty far along in making it already. I'm hoping to have it out sometime in December.

You can only save the screenshots as BMP in Paint, and you can't post BMP's on here so I converted them.

If Dirty Harry had an IQ of 36 and a dangerously lethal level of pent-up rage, you'd get Delta Jones, Brookside City's #1 Renegade Cop. Delta's a guy who believes that being a cop means you shoot first, ask questions later, and then shoot the person you asked the questions too. Sure, he may kill more innocent people than most cops do, but he gets the job done, and that's all that counts, right?

Well, trouble's brewing for Detective Jones. His new Chief doesn't like his violent ways and is starting to watch him closely. To make matters worse, Delta accidently stumbles upon a fiendish conspiracy to ban guns from Brookside! Delta knows he can't let that happen (Due to his passionate love of firepower) so he's going to take down all the bad guys the only way he knows how: excessive violence and unnessecary death.

Crime. Sometimes you have to shoot in the face with a really big gun.

Note: I had to convert these screens into GIF's with a trial product, so they got that marking on them.

Just because he fired a rocket into an orphanage doesn't make him a bad cop, does it?

Here we see Delta politely ask this citizen for a piece of evidence

See, Delta's even against drugs. What a good guy!

What a powerful introduction to such a powerful character

Dave, you once again proved how much talent you really have. Another great game.

Ok, I've been working on a new game called 'Kevin Costner Must Die!'. It's about celebrity bodyguard Tobias Jones's mission to track down the mysterious villain who wants Kevin Costner assasinated. I'm not that good of an artist, but my game's not really about the graphics, I'm concentrating on making it funny. But anyway, onto the rooms:

This is a hallway from the mansion belonging to Kevin Costner. Notice the poster for Waterworld in the background, and the huge portrait on Kevin. He's a very conceited man. : http://img57.photobucket.com/albums/v175/Darkko/KC.bmp

And here's the office of bodyguard Tobias Jones, whos love of purple is only matched for his love of Dolph Lundgren movies: http://img57.photobucket.com/albums/v175/Darkko/Of.bmp

If anyone wanted to help contribute some character art and animation for the game (And I could really use some help), please contact me.

Men of Dignity- Late January 2004

I thought I'd bump this thread up, in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Dr. Tobias Greenland Jr, famous African astrophysician/elephant hunter, is a normal man with a normal life. He wakes up at dawn, eats 'secret tofu sauce', and holds intelligent conversations with a trash-talking carrot named Jerry. But this regular life is shattered when Tobias learns his old buddy, Judge Calhoon, has been arrested in New Hampshire for extreme use of the word 'slappy'. But breaking his friend out of his jail is only the tip of this bizarre iceberg, and soon both men are on a cross-country roadtrip in search of 'The Gobbler', a mythical creature that only they can see, who listens to a lot of Styx. Oh, and he plans to destroy the whole universe unless they can stop him.

Don't let the bizarre hallucinations and talking vegetables fool you. These truly are Men of Dignity.

UPDATES
-----------
Dec. 21: The game right now is about 10% complete. Everything's going smoothly , and I don't forsee any problems in the near future. I've put in a parody of Rocky III in the game, with 'Eye of the Tiger' playing in the background. If you've seen the movie, it should be pretty funny.

Here's some screenshots:

This is the cover of Tobias' and Judge's hit banjo record, 'Banjos of Fire'. Winner of 8 Banjovo's, the banjo equivalent of the Grammy.

And here's Judge Calhoon, getting ready to join the army for revenge after The Gobbler bombed his pumpkin house. We salute you, soldier.

There's a bunch of other screenshots I'd like to show, like the Iranian Circus, or Judge's hallucinatory wife, but I'm a very lazy man.

I need a character animator for my horror game Sanctuary. I've got the characters drawn, and all that needs to be done is the animation. There's 6 characters that need to be animated in total.

Critics' Lounge / Characters from horror game
Wed 15/10/2003 06:13:01
Here are two characters from my upcoming horror game, Sanctuary. The one on the top is a priest with a scarred face, and the one on the bottom is a kind of guy you'd see drinking coffee at a Starbucks while listening to a Beck CD. The one on the bottom isn't fully done yet,

If anyone would like to help animating these and some other characters for my game, please contact me. I suck at animation.

*UPDATE*

It's been awhile, but here's an update.

ART- 95%: I'm finished with all the backgrounds, and secondary characters, but I threw out my Max Thorn art, it just didn't work. If anyone wants to help me make the Max Thorn character, please contact me.

SCRIPTING- 50%: What started off as a simple project, has ballooned into a much larger one than expected. Scripting is going well, but it's taking a lot of time.

SOUND- 10%: So far, all I've got is the theme for the game, which I think is really good. Kind of a cross between the Twin Peaks theme and the Deep Red theme.

I'm currently working on my first official game (I made a game for the January MAGS but I lost all files on my computer.) In the game, you play as Max Thorn, a detective usually sent on small cases like looking for lost keys, and spying on cheating wives. But one night, a mysterious man representing a group called "The Blood Hunters" comes to your office. The Blood Hunters are a group secretly used by the government to track down the top criminals in the country, basically the top bounty hunters in the country. But their latest bounty is a little different- his name is Paul Kotts, an ex-member of The Blood Hunters who disappeared in 1998. Two weeks ago, he reappeared and stole files from The Blood Hunters, files that could be valuable on the black market. The problem is, since he's an ex-member of The Blood Hunters, he's a man that's familiar with hiding, he knows where they'll look, and he knows how to set them off on the wrong tracks. And that's where you come in. The Blood Hunters want someone simple, someone that works on a different level than Paul. So, the quest begins as simple as it could be: track down Paul Kotts. But soon, you'll discover that there may be more to the case than seems....

So far I have all the art done, and I'm starting the script. Scripting shouldn't take too long, I'm going to say a March release date.
