If you're still looking, I've got a nice condenser mic... and I don't really sound like Christopher Walken... :D

The reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated.  Now, as for certain supporting characters...

@ Piper
Spoiler
Use the blue solution that initially fills the tube. (i.e. from the computer fill-up)

And...I'm stuck.
Spoiler
I can't figure out how to turn the solution in the beaker blue to pour on the postcard. So far, I've only managed to get purple (unmixed) and brown (mixed). I am assuming the code for the computer is on the postcard since the numbers on the clock don't work (from both normal view and Brainbot's analyze view). I'm also not sure what to do with the gumball other than bounce them off the picture frame and the cell phone. Audbot's absolutely no help.

Here's a quick tip that might shed some light on your problem:
Spoiler
Pour the blue solution directly from the test tube onto the postcard.  For future reference, you can use chembot + an empty test tube on whatever solution is in the beaker to collect some.

Thanks, Y.  I'll see about posting a revised version soon.  Maybe even a walkcycle...

Critics' Lounge / Concept art for C & C

Howdy folks, Notwithabang... here, with a little bit of concept art for C&C.  Mostly, I'm just kicking around ideas about the dress/appearance of the main character (note: the one that's not the bear), e.g. adding Liz Lemon-style glasses.  Of course, criticism of the image itself is also welcome (a little color info was lost in the PNG-ing).

We've got a quick podcast with the Ivy up, in which we promise that she doesn't reveal any trade secrets.

Did we mention that everything said in this post isn't true? Including this?

There's a new interview with noted AGS developer Dave Gilbert up at Yesterday's Salad.  The podcast covers the Blackwell games, as well as Dave's creative process.  Those looking for insider info on the newest Wadjet-Eye game will not be disappointed (not).  You can even learn how to correctly pronounce "Vince xii!"

Word also has it that Dave might appear in a Shivah-related podcast at noted program Just Commentary later this month...

@VertigoAddict
As a matter of fact, if you scroll down, there's a wee Nelly Cootalot (eyepatch an' all...)

Er... turns out that not all of the images had loaded.  There should be a considerable increase in cameos, both classic and contemporary.

That's right, you read the title correctly.  This week, Yesterday's Salad reviews Yahtzee, the person.

http://yesterdayssalad.wordpress.com/2008/03/10/yesterdays-salad-reviews-yahtzee/

::) ...by which we sorta kinda mean that we are reviewing a tremendous number of his past games, in keeping with our general tendency to review games several years after they already come out. Also, see if you can find the random AGS cameos (gotta catch 'em all!).

Happy Monday,

Mine is a big blue cup.
Filled with kittens.
Because everyone likes kittens.
Even people who eat lions.
