You already have the answers for these three quesions, but the locations where the hints can be found are missing. To complete this missing information (I use the numbers of your walkthrough at http://gamesolutions.efzeven.nl/soviet-unterzogersdorf-sektor-2-walkthrough-monochrom2009/):

4. You’re the product of the workforce
You’re beloved without remorse

Now you upgrade planet Earth.

Spoiler

We are working on an idea.
[close]

(from the room with two fallen statues - just behind the room with the wrench)
Comment: I must confess that this one is quite tricky in english, as the translation differs in both variants. The statue says "We're spinning this idea..." and the question is "We are working on _______". Where as in german both sentences are "Wir arbeiten an einer __Idee__". I changed the sentence on the statue for future releases, as it is text without voice output and thus quite simple to change.

I got it from the web... just your homepage... Don't worry, it won't circulate. I thought it would be easy to get all the questions but alas, they're always the same as you mentioned.

Oh, sh*t. You have to download again.
PM me if you accept an original Game-CD (which is free, but a limited edition) signed by commissar Chrusov as an apologize.

By the way:
You did a real great work so far. Your walkthru is the best and most complete (as usual)!
http://gamesolutions.efzeven.nl/soviet-unterzogersdorf-sektor-2-walkthrough-monochrom2009/

And I have to add:
Getting _all_ questions is definitly not easy as the questions are selected when starting a new game, not when getting to OZOeD. This also means that questions stay the same, when you load a saved game.

Look, comrade, I found another tiny bug under the sand.. or.. actually it isn't there or....
Oh well...

The bucket hotspot isn't removed. After you've take it and filled it, you can take it again. Although the green thing isn't visible, the hotspot is... sort of ... when you hold your mouse pointer at the right spot...

Hell, you know what I mean...

[update] It doesn't happen right away so leaving and entering the screen doesn't do the trick but at some point in the game after having the bucket, the hotspot is reset.

And version 1.2 starts at the end.. ? Since you don't have the right equipment (yet) there's not much to do!

You can solve this however by dying first and then choose new game/neues spiel...

Please download v1.2 (again)!

I guess you got a test version that was published accidently as v1.1 replacement, but was online for a short time (< 6 hours during night time CET) only. In the test version (which I used to verify the known post-release bug #2) the starting room was set to Oberzögersdorf, the furball check is deactivated and the three questions are always the same. If you get symptoms like that, please try to get it again.

And: Did you get it via torrent or via download? I hope that this false version does not circulate as torrent somewhere...
The version available on the download site ist tested to be OK.

Hints & Tips / Stuck in OZÖD questions?

I have to apologize. One slipped though all betatesting.
Comrade Jon found a real bug, that stops the great socialist revolution at Oberzögersdorf. But: Only 21,4% of you are stopped, the others are lucky and can complete the mission.

Known post-release bug #2
in versions v1.0 and v1.1

If it happens that you have to answer the question
"...ist ein mächtiger Feind" // "...a powerful enemy"
you are in trouble, as you never can click the right answer and are stuck.
The chance that you are affected is 3 out of 14 (so you now know that there are 14 questions in total)

Unfortunately there is no workaround. And: Questions are selected randomly at start of a new game.
v1.2 is currently compiled and tested. Saved games will be fully functional in this release.

If you already have downloaded v1.0 for Linux, please use this workaround:

Soviet Unterzoegersdorf Sector 2 game v1.0 for Linux, - workaround

Maybe you have heard already that SUZ2 contains Codeweavers / Wine.
If you get an error "unable to initialize your audio hardware [Problem DIGMID patch set not found]" there are troubles with mapping the audio driver. With Alsa it works fine.

To solve the problem:

1. Check, if Alsa is installed:
cat /proc/asound/version

2. Configure Wine to use Alsa only:
% ./bin/wine --bottle suz --wl-app winecfg

from "suz2". In the tab "Audio" select (only) "Alsa" and confirm your selection.

Then it (hopefully) runs without troubles. So far it was tested with Suse 11.1 and Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. As I just created a v1.1 for Windows, I'll try to default these settings with the v1.1 for Linux. In the meantime please use the procedure described.
#10
That's no option in this case.
Sometimes in the game I'm using music as a timer...
Besides that the wonderful russian voice would be missing.

And: I think that AGS 3.x is more then attractive again, so I think it will draw attention to capable Linux coders.

Quote from: Pumaman on Mon 09/03/2009 23:22:32
You could try running the WinSetup program and disabling music, so that it doesn't attempt to initialize the MIDI driver -- that might get around the problem.

QuoteAnd: Yes, I wish I would have a native AGS 3.x engine!

Me too, we just need to find a Linux developer to maintain it!

#11
Of course. And: The latter is true. I'm using AGS 3.x and Crossover / Wine. I just do not have enough Linux / Wine experience and was searching for any clue if the problem experienced was due to AGS or Wine. Maybe it was an issue everybody knows except me...

It seems that it is related to Wine. Got this hint from a Linux user:

>If in Linux and Wine this message is displayed
>
>"unable to initialize your audio hardware"
>[Problem DIGMID patch set not found]
>
>there are troubles with the audio driver. Check with
>"cat /proc/asound/version"
>if Alsa is installed.
>
>Open Wine config in "suz2" with
>$ ./bin/wine --bottle suz --wl-app winecfg
>Under Tab "Audio" select (only) Alsa
>and click "Apply".

Have no idea what Alsa is and have to look it up and try it out on a test system.
If it's as simple as that, I declare this topic closed.
Sorry to bother you.
And: Yes, I wish I would have a native AGS 3.x engine!

Quote from: Pumaman on Mon 09/03/2009 20:46:51
Are you using the official AGS Linux distribution or something you have put together using the Windows version and WINE? If it's the latter then I can't offer any support for it.
#12
You ain't seen nothin' yet...  :D
Enjoy the ride!

In the meantime we decided to put the windows version of v1.1 online:
http://monochrom.sil.at/monochrom-SUZ2--version1dot1.exe
Those you haven't downloaded the Windows version yet should download v1.1.
It fixes the post-release bug #1 mentioned above and a few typos.

OSX and Linux versions will follow as soon as possible.

update Mar 13, 2009:
Exhaustingly tested v1.1 is now online. Feel free to download. Available as download and as torrent. download site remains the same: http://game.unterzoegersdorf.su/

Version 1.1 fixes a few typos, the bug below and the problem of sound driver selection in the Linux download.

Known post-release bug #1 of v1.0

Question: If you quit the game in the English version "by emigration like an escape" the main menu will be displayed in German language. How awful! If you start a new game ("Neues Spiel"), the dialogues will be English -- but some poetry and songs will be in German! The horror!
Answer: To avoid this problem simply select "Spiel laden" (load game) from the German main menu, select the saved game "Game Start Autosave" and press "Laden" (load). The game will be entirely displayed in English now.

Yesterday we released Soviet Unterzoegersdorf Sector II.
Today we get feedback about the Linux version - it was made with the help of Codeweavers / Wine by the way. Unfortunately I am no Linux wizard - I learned to code AGS scripts, but I hope that the AGS community can help with this tricky question:

Starting the linux version the game engine complains about a missing DIGMID patch on several Linux distributions and versions. This site
http://alleg.sourceforge.net/digmid.html
tells me that this could be a problem of Midi support. I wonder why, because I don't use any Midi in the game at all - and I found no switch where to switch off Midi support. Maybe the Sound and Music support derived from a very early Midi support and is somehow woven into?

Any help appreciated.

No wonder - as hundreds of other users are doing the same. Guess we should set up official mirrors quite fast. Any volunteers?
And torrents, of course.

And: yes, we are already thinking of the story of Sector III. But I guess it will take us another five years to complete, as we have much other things on our agenda.

Gulags were created for social-traitors who failed following beta-testing schedules.
But it's ok - I guess.

In other hand, your aquaintances with decadent "artists" such as Jello Biafra and some so-called cyberpunk writers will send you straight to the working camp comrads.

So, start working on SEKTOR III, now.

Soviet Unterzoegersdorf (pronounced
«oon-taa-tsee-gars-doorf») is the last existing
client republic of the USSR. The soviet enclave
maintains no diplomatic relationship with the
surrounding so-called "Republic of Austria" or
with the capitalist fortress "European Union".
The downfall of the people's motherland -- the
Soviet Union -- in the early 1990s had a
devastating effect on the country’s

forces threatened the last remaining proletarian paradise.
Party secretary Wladislav Gomulka has been

US-Oberzoegersdorf. We must save comrade Gomulka!

Let the proletarians sing with joy! Let us

Political dissenters will be dealt with.

The computer game is a tribute to the proud yet
imperiled republic of Soviet Unterzoegersdorf
(pronounced «oon-taa-tsee-gars-doorf»), the last
existing appendage republic of the USSR. The tiny
enclave maintains no diplomatic relationship with
the surrounding "Republic of Austria" or with the
Fortress "European Union".

The downfall of her motherland -- the Soviet
Union -- in the early 1990s had a particularly
bad effect on the country’s economic situation.
Now the picturesque communist state is facing a
serious lack of resources, lack of space, and
lack of population. To make matters worse, party
secretary Wladislav Gomulka was kidnapped and
brought to US-Oberzoegersdorf. We must use every
tool at our disposal to rescue Gomulka! Including
plenty of classified soviet technology, a proud
tradition of bureaucracy, the recognition of
North Korea, and a pond full of radioactive byproduct.

Forgot to add: Anyone who likes to help porting the game back from 3.1 to 2.72 is welcome. Please write to suz-game@monochrom.at - thanks.

Short answer: no. Long answer: Well, first we thought of it. But CC is much more fun as you get so many great people supporting the development - we never would have been able to pay them. So the game development had to run on low priority, that's why it took us almost three years to complete sector II of the trilogy (an other reason is that the lead programmer changed).

thanks for the flowers on sector I, hope you'll like the sector II as well!
guess the game will come in hot and straight from the oven on Dec 28, as we still are working on cutting the voice tracks of the player character... Maybe we will need some more days. But we will see.
