Played this yesterday - I really enjoyed it and a nice slice of British nostalgia.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The art-style is frankly gorgeous and the world building is great. Always left wanting more.

:cheesy: I had fun helping beta-read and playtest this. First ever game I did anything towards.

Currently playing it on Steam after I saw it advertised on Twitter. Enjoying it so far!

Wow that was (really) short and sweet - hope we can see of Clotide in the future.

Liked it, didn't find it too challenging. I think I share similar opinions with:

Spoiler
The balance of knowing what the previous owner looked like. I was on the final puzzle and room before I even thought about opening the box.

xandmatt: Tondbert is talking about the Knight in the web when he says he can't leave yet. You need to go back to the Spider's Nest  :)

As I've played through (I've completed it - loved it). But:
Spoiler
This was before I even met Lauren and got the ladder to attempt to rescue the Knight from the woodworm. It wouldn't let me leave the screen in any direction.

Loved it so far - but have reached something in Act II which meant I couldn't advance and had to load an earlier save:
Spoiler
During Act II I ventured into the forest and then went to the exit that went up to the stone statue.

At that point it wouldn't let me go left or right and wouldn't let me leave because it said the knight was in trouble and something about Lauren's Ladder. Re-loaded, carried on right and met Lauren and got the ladder. On the way back it wouldn't let me go towards the statue at this point, Tondbert saying he wasn't going in unless he's sure the princess was there.

Not sure if that's an issue or not - but thought I'd better report it, just in case.

Currently playing it, enjoying the story immensely but came across a bug.
Spoiler

When you head back to Goetzel's lab when he's alive, I've spoken to him and got the Jack of Diamonds clue, read the phone, read the notes and got stuck. Tried to leave and the game asked me to leave and then the game started playing the scene of dialogue when The Artist comes out, the vat falls and the characters live and end up in Norman's office and the following error appears:

"in "room42.asc," line 326
Error: FaceCharacter: Characters are in different rooms."

This looks ace! Wishlisted on Steam already.

Finished it - I really, really enjoyed this. Found it very funny, sparks of originality in some of the puzzles and I was sad when I finished it. Good job!

I liked this - there was an interesting story and some of the set-pieces were good and it never felt repetitive. I liked Tracey as a character, too.

Any niggles? That church puzzle was trying at parts - but I really do appreciate that there was eventually a way to cheat it that was in game. It just took me a while to get to that point. I also agree with Shadow1000 about the amount of dialogue - there's a lot of it that slows the pace down and I just started skipping it to get through it.

I did enjoy it though - well done.

I am enjoying it so far - on the second part of the game. The second act's main puzzle thread of

Having to fool the hand sensor is a pretty cool quest, and ties into the main character's characterisation very well.

Nothing like hearing a lead character with a local accent (ish). The Saleswoman's jokes about Brummie are spot-on. Ya'm done good there, mate.

Looking forward to keep on playing, arr.

Amazing game. On my third play through now with the developer's commentary. It's quite a fascinating insight to hear how the game was developed; especially after hearing the commentaries for most of the other WadjetEye Games. It's a documented history of how Dave develops as a game developer (pun intended).

It's a brilliant technical achievement, and well worth waiting for. It expands on the Blackwell Universe (is there an actual name for it?) a lot and the characters are very well defined.

I also love:
Spoiler
the whole Chinatown breakout section; it's brilliantly conceived and the game's standout "set piece" for me. It was nice to have a section where you could interact with KayKay; who is just as much a member of the team as everyone else. She's tied with Vicki as my favourite character.

Binge-played the first two so I can now play this one! Have very much enjoyed the series so far -- there's elements of the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde (which I love).

EDIT: Aaand I see that Fforde's just been referenced in Thalia's room!

Can't be there in person due to a three-and-a-half-hour journey to London and having evenings plans - but I'll be watching the Live Stream on the site.

I may need an extra hint, sorry. I can't figure out what to do with it.
