hmm... I've done all that though; and I've put it on my USB for the timebeing. I used my sister's laptop to test whether or not it works, but now it says either there's an error (Windows needs me to pick the program from a list) or "Unable to launch" error.
What am I doing wrong? I've got a "acsetup", "music.vox", "speech.vox" and "winsetup" am I missing something?

[sorry for bothering you guys, but I'm a little desperate here- i need to hand it in to my teacher tomorrow]

Advanced Technical Forum / Saving a game...

If I've made a game, finished it, and zipped it, does that mean only people who have downloaded AGS Editor will be able to play it?
If no, is there any way to save it so others who don't have AGS Editor will be able to play it?

thank you!
I found it XD just goes to show how  careful you have to be in AGS, I forgot 1 bracket and it screwed my whole game up ><"

I pressed F5 to save my game and open it so I could test it when I got;

"Runtime error: unexpected eof"
"File: GlobalScript.asc"
"Line: -10"

What does it mean by -10? If I double click it, all it does is take me to the first line which is highlighted. And the first line just says "//main global script file"

Is anybody able to help please?
[also, it would be nice if someone could tell me what eof means]

 ??? I was wondering if it would be possible to script it so an item that clicked on an object would be able to change the object's image.

Example: (image of wardrobe closed -- click with item such as key --> image of open wardrobe)

If so, how would you script it? Some help would be much appreciated.

I'm making a game, and in it I want the player after finding two items [example; battery and torch] to be able to "merge" them into one. I found it mentioned in the help/manual provided so I know it can be done, but I can't find the [scripting] instructions to do it.

Can anybody help? Please?
