Music

I'm a professional composer looking to get some gaming music credits. I've got 20 years composing experience with acoustic instrumentals and vocals. I've been a life-long adventure gamer, so I know how music affects a game, as well as how to use the music appropriately to accent what is happening at the time.  As a musician and a gamer, I know that poor music or "stock" music samples can greatly take away from a game. I create all original compositions, set to fit the mood of your story, in all styles from happy and cartoonish to dark and suspenseful. Listen to some of my existing acoustic work at www.facebook.com/JamisonAlderson. As I am building a "portfolio" of gaming credits, I am willing to do projects of all scales for free. E-mail me at AldersonJL@gmail.com if you have a project you'd like to work with me on!

Hey all~
My name's Jamison. I've been composing accoustic instrumental and vocal music for 19 years and would like to make a step into writing for games. As a big adventure gamer myself, I know quite a bit in how music should be formed around the adventure game. I'd be willing to write music for your game for free or as a collaboration as I am wanting to build a "portfolio" of game music. I have samples of my accoustic works posted here: www.facebook.com/JamisonAlderson. Please e-mail me at AldersonJL@gmail.com if you'd like to discuss a game idea that needs a soundtrack. Thanks!

How can I setup how the inventory items are displayed in the inventory screen? I would like them to be in 4 columns and 2 rows, but right now when the inventory is pulled up in the game, the items all overlap each other. Also, the action spot on the inventory items is very small and hard to grab. Can I increase the size of the clickable area on each item in inventory?

I'm having trouble specifying which objects trigger events on certain hot spots. Here's my simple example that I'm toying with:

Character has a key and a match in inventory. The key should be the only inventory item to unlock the cupboard, but right now, the match will also open the cupboard.

How do I set only the key to unlock the cupboard and retrieve the cup (retrieving the cup I've scripted already) and using the match on the cupboard will give a different outcome? Been all over the tutorials and could not find this.
