Hi everybody,
Here juste a simple question,
I would like to know if a module which transform the sliders of the sound to a gauge exist.
In order to do 2 sprite, one full, one empty,
And the full one appears with a mask, a mask which hide a percentage of the sprite.

Hello,
I have an idea wich could improve the pose.
I think your alien is a little rigid because of his spine wich could be more curved.
Maybe this way he'll look better.



Paint is not really good, but that is the idea I think.

Just an answer to this,
A great animator, don't remember his name (probably Richard Williams, but not sure), finds that people who don't move the head look effeminate,
Unlike virile people who move the head and shoulders.
It's a gerneral observation, not an absolute truth, maybe it's caricatural, but it's important to think of it.

Hi,
I have no tip for you, just a piece of advice,
I don't know what program you use, but look at your histogram (ctrl+l in photoshop), in the last picture you had posted you had no dark tone, so it's a little dull.
I did a try:

I don't know if you prefer this one ?

I have a question, I wanna know if it's possible to have an walk behind area smoothed.
My game is not a pixel art game, and then, my walk behind are sharp.
And I can not make my walk behind with object, because my cursor change over en object.
Do you have any idea ?

Hi,
I'll not help you with shadow, because I don't do pixel art,
But just one or two thing,
I think you should reverse the oblique of the hip compared to those of the shoulders for more dynamism.
Here en example:


For your background, I have no time to explain in details now,
But You have some problem of perspective, and I don't understand why yours verticales are not.
Sorry if what I said was not about shadow, but I'll hope it will be helpful ;)

Hello everybody,
Here I want to present my future game, it's the first one I make, and it's for my study. It will be short because I have no time, and I don't know scripting.
I'm french, so the game will be in french, the translation for the title could be!

I am god and I am tired.

I hesit with: "How to be good." with the second "o" striked.

You are god, and you try to help human, but nothing will go like you want... That's the story.

I thank you for your answer,
But I'll be honest, I understood nothing.
Maybe it's because of my english wich sucks,
But most probably, I wanted to be faster than my knowledges allowed me.
So, I repeat, thank you, I'll keep this topic in my memory and in my bookmarks, and I'll come back later, when I'll be able to understand.

Hello, I searched on the forum but I found nothing.
I'm trying to make an horizontal inventory, and I want to know if it's possible to smooth the scroll ?
Maybe you know a module, or a script ?
I prefer to tell you I'm totally noob in scripting, I'm an "illustrator", and I try to make my GUI before to continue my drawings.
