Playtesting
AMD Athlon 2400XP, 1024MB RAM, 256MB, ATi Radeon 9700, gaming rig built by yours truly. :)

Although I can only test anything under 10mb, cause I'm on dial up. (If your game is large try to use WinACE to compress it. You get a much smaller archive size. :))

Proof Reading
Can correct nearly all spelling mistakes and a few grammatical.

Send me a PM if you want help with either.

QuoteNo matter how much I listen to the FT soundtrack, I can't make out the Lyrics to the three songs: Hammerin' it Up, Born Bad and Full Throttle.

If by "Full Throttle" you mean the intro song of Full Throttle it's called "Legacy" and "Hammerin' it Up" might be "Drop the Hammer". Try those.

Great. Cannon Fodder is one of my favorite games.   :)

Like the inclusion of energy bars. It was always a bastard when one of your men got picked off, just when you tried to grab that box of grenades without firing incase you hit it.

Are there going to be any vehicles?

If you're using windows you can look at the properties menu of the *.EXE and fiddle around with the memory settings there.

If that doesn't work you could try and download DOSBox but I don't know if you can change the different types of memory. I think you might only be able to change the amount it uses.

The Feeble Files was great, it just had a few annoying puzzles. (The arcade, the programming the keycard).

The real worst game is Simon the Sorcerer 2. It commits the worst offence ever in an adventure game. It has a "To be continued" ending. All the effort you put in to it is wasted because you don't get anything in return.

All adventures, no matter how good or crappy, at least give you a proper ending for your work.

Heh, just finished it. Slightly disappointing about the Merc's Guild but the rest is great.

Spoiler
I liked the "Cheesy Action Figure" pun, damn funny.

Now, I'll have to play Fry 3 again to remember what happens.

QuoteYou came here to freak us all out?  jk

I haven't even started yet...  ;)

Anyway, I sometimes get the feeling I'm falling when I'm in bed and I suddenly grab it in some kind of reflex action. It's quite real.

The being pulled around in different directions thing happens when I lay completely still for a few minutes. You can also make yourself feel like you are rolling around or moving your limbs by moving without using your muscles (hard to explain but its like trying to move a part of your body with an extremely small force so there is no movement, if you do move your muscle it breaks the illusion).

The Rumpus Room / Re:Sam and Max Cancelled!

I must admit I didn't find it that much of a suprise after FF2 was cancelled. They won't be able to fool anyone with thier excuses this time.

I wonder if this means no MI5 too?

I just read through this thread. Very interesting. The nearest I've ever got to controlling what I do in a dream is when I am nearly awake. I have had conrol for a few minutes but it then fades out.

Just one thing. If some people can control basic bodily functions. Isn't that kind of like hacking the mind? controlling it directly through commands you enter rather than the low level stuff beng handled by itself and you controlling your movement through a kind of high level shell? It sounds like you could really f**k yourself up if you mess around with your body too much. Just as you can your pc by changing settings in your OS or bootsector. Or you might not come back to reality and could be stuck in your mind. Just thinking about the risk factor here.

Perhaps this is a good time for me to get to work on some of those game concepts I've come up with.

Thanks for the list.

I too must agree here,
QuoteHush Puppies. By a VERY long way.

The boulder puzzle in MI4

The coffin ride thing in MI4

I know it probably isn't a puzzle, but Monkey Kombat is a pain.

The slot machine in the Feeble Files (Instead of bloody playing the thing a hundred times over why doesnt he just give it a whack?).

Getting the green crystal in Toonstruck.

If you have the game set to run full screen then change it to run windowed. It always freezes for some reason if you use full screen.

Thanks for a response people. Any kind of contribution would be appreciated (Remember it doesn't need to be a review. it could be artwork, music, poetry, anything that comes to mind really). Could you also please put a response in the thread marked "Tell us if You're There" as soon as you find some time, cause my mate is starting to lose hope on anyone actually visiting the forum and a response would show that people are interested.

Thanks,

Oh yeah while I'm here there has been a Country section added, so if you know anyone who likes Country please tell them

A mate of mine has set up a site called Extreme-Scene-Review.
If anyone is interested in any type of Metal (or most other types of music are fine) and would like to make submissions (Reviews, Music, Artwork, etc.) or just talk about music in general please take a look.

Harmful to your own souls and to those who may read it. So I simply ask,

I'm not trying to take the piss or anything but if this is true why do people keep telling me God is benevolent, forgiving and loves everyone?

Surely "The Powers That Be" have a sense of humour or it wouldn't exist?
