So I have really been enjoying this game so far but I think I've hit a bug of some sort, it is currently day 13 and I managed to finally stumble upon the caged beast however it would appear that it has died.

from reading a few walkthroughs while trying to avoid spoilers it seems that the beast wont appear until day 13 but it also seems to have appeared diseased, perhaps it first appears on a different day in the AGD remake? I am not that keen to have to start a new game to try and save the beast this time

I think it was a Hallmark movie or something like that, its was a very low budget film I had to watch with my family, my mom has always been big into the true story/hallmark channel/feel good movies

It starts off with this old man (who was some athlete) who keeps coming into a diner or some kind of shop and one of the patrons happens to recognize him and tries to initiate conversation on the typical lines "you used to be big back in the day", can't remember exactly what happens next but this guy is persistent, it turns out he's some documentary maker and wants to interview the old man and somehow persuades him to go through with it.

They find a producer and you watch this guy's life unfold, he makes it to the big time but something unfair happened, someone takes a cheap shot and hes injured, he gets married, his wife dies giving birth to his child, a couple years later his child dies, he finds out about a young struggling teenager who's baby is going to die and he decides to give all of his remaining money to pay for the operation needed to save her child.

I think the documentary was meant to pay for some kind of operation or a comeback for the old man but unfortunately the guys in the editing rooms accidentally sent out clips comprised of everything that was meant to be cut out from the movie.. or it just didn't fair well, the producer loses money and tells the old man I never want to see you ever again.

The man who set this all up, while researching he came across information about the child he saved and he asks the old man if he would like to meet them, and so the movie ends with the old man finding out the child is an aspiring athlete with a chance to make it big and he decides to mentor the kid, and the movie ends, and I cant seem to remember the title but the basic story-line has stuck with me forever.

There was an old adventure from my childhood, as I recall you arrive at your uncles or fathers house only to find that there is some weird portal in his basement or something so you enter the portal and find yourself in a weird dimension, apparently your uncle... or father is kidnapped, you arrive in some construction site, one of the first things you have to do is change your hairstyle to something specific because if you don't I believe its the mayor... will recognize you and kill you immediately which is a random occurance, you have to get your hair foiled or something, I also remember a weird burger joint where you get some gloves for eating a burger since it would burn your hands otherwise, but the gloves are also used for catching a snake or something like that which flys at you from a tree I believe, I believe the creatures were electrified so if you stayed in that area long enough you would die. Its a bit of a vague description sorry, but I happened to have a dream about it where I was the main character which triggered my memory of this game and I realized that I never beat the game and would like to do so if I could only just remember its name.

I apologize if this is the wrong area to ask this, however I'm wondering if there is any program that can open a saved game file without crashing it when you try to load it again.

I realized that I can open a agssave.001 with word pad or note pad however if I save the file I'm unable to restore it while in the game.

I know that I can just start the game over to recover my loss and finish it, however I was hoping that I can use some type of program to change the variable and be able to continue my saved game without having to restart

I remember playing the demo for this wonderful game .. it creeped me out in some parts in a good way and gave me some chills, even my uncle was intrigued by it, however when the newer version of this came out it just didnt live up to the original... When we purchased The Blackwell Legacy  it was interesting... however for me and my family it had lost the feel of the demo,  I mean no criticiziem of course Ive loved the game series but I still think back and wish It had followed the original first demo... 

  :   So I've just bought a new smart phone and I created a Gmail account to activate it, it an android, I registered my email addresses and logged into HTC Facebook Sense, however now all of my phone contact list is huge, it lists all emails by persons name and even adds their phone numbers to their name, the...... biggest problem is that it synchronized all of my facebook contacts too.

so even my acquaintances on facebook are listed by name profile picture email and phone numbers if they have any posted to facebook, if i try to delete them.. it will delete them off of my facebook too...

but now their all on my phone, and on my gmail account...

I cannot find any settings on my phone to prevent it from gleaning so much information from the programs i use....


Say I meet a new client at work.... she or he give me their phone number, and i put it into my phone, later on i get notifications on facebook that I should add them "People you may know" lol..

I joined an athletic club with my phone number and instantly Facebook starts sending me members from the club to add to my friends...

Ive found all of this to be completely confusing and very intruding and almost creepy...

I love my smart phone but....  am I intruding on others privacy??? :

I started a facebook account some time ago, now please don't take this the wrong way and please no irrelevant posts calling me some kind of weirdo..

I tried this with another site and pretty much got called a PEDO.

Now facebook has a nice little app called "People You May Know" I loved this app, as I started to add friends and family members It helped me to find long lost relatives pages and friends that I had not seen In along time, I enjoyed being able to reconnect.

however

Now its only recommending under aged girls, most of them being 14-20.... and a lot of them are from bonney lake, which is about 10 miles from where I actually live...

Is there something in my settings that I can change?? currently i have 32 friends, Im not looking to build my friends list, but whenever I search for someone I continue to be bogged down by the same girls.. my profile clearly states my age! also most of the friends in my list are 30 or older I admit I did add a few family friends and cousins who requested who are young, but other than that I haven't done anything to my settings.

Why do I keep getting friend suggestions and rare requests from these girls??

Yes I made the error of adding a few of them, assuming that they must have been family friends... however this was a big mistake and Ive deleted every one of them. (the reason I added them is that I have an uncle who is a bit obsessed with facebook and the constantly searches for relatives and family friends and sends every member in my family suggestions of people to add)

All I want, again.. ALL I WANT!, is to figure out how to block, or restore my friend suggestions so once again I will be getting people my age, whom also are actual acquaintances like I used to not too long ago.

Can anyone help??, and if your going to comment "creepy" "weirdo" or... any other thing than please just stow it, Ive had enough of those comments from other forums and even facebook support.


Facebook support suggests that I delete this account and wait the number of days for it to be removed and then start a new one unless im actually trolling in which case if they get any complaints my account may be disabeled, Im really not interested in that option.


ps, It may be possible that my recent joining of a Writers group started by author Terri DuLong to assist aspiring writers might have started all of this.. The group does have a lot of under aged writers as well as older ones, the purpose of this group is to write random stories and get feedback world wide from other aspiring writers, to become a part of this group you do need to have a strong writing talent in Creative Writing, Terri DuLong even often checks in on projects and gives writers her own feedback.

So, first it was my Guild Wars account, and then my Steam account, I came across a webpage for a program called Hide my IP, has anyone used this? its inexpensive it also claims that it protects you against hackers which is something I could use.

Im just wondering if anyone can advise me on purchasing it or something like it, unless hiding my IP address would be detrimental?

It was about a year ago when Sarah approached me at the spring festival my local college hosts, she was one of those skinny girls who hangs out at the local skate park showing off moves getting bruises and excetra. Which is why I thought it was a prank when she asked me out... however at the time she was serious.

Fast-forward over a year ahead and we have been dating in a serious relationship, this year she took a quarter off of college and vacationed with her family in Florida, during the past few weeks she stopped calling me every night.

I was very excited when she finally arrived home, I wanted impatiently until she drove up the drive way to my place and got out, she was cross, angry, she said she didn't know me, she never loved me, and she demanded that I return ever single gift she ever gave me over the time we were together.

Now I don't have everything she ever gave me theres a few things back at my parents house, I think, and some others got lost in the move, including a horrid t-shirt she thought looked good on me.. but now she wants it all back for........Zack from flordia.

I cant give what I don't have, therefore, she is reporting me to the police.. :-S


So I ask... what should I expect? It all seems a bit far fetched to me. Has anyone experienced this? what questions are they going to ask me?? how should I prepare??

Hopefully most of you have heard about steam, a wonderful program that allows you to play your games from an account on any computer you own.

Ne way, over the years I have accumulated over 30 games on my steam account however now I cannot access them, and Steam support will not reply to any of my messages.

heres the problem, with my love of adventure games I purchased Monkey Island 2 SE from steam and couldnt wait to play it, i already beat number 1, so upon starting it up I was immediately crashed to my desktop, I got a message about some DRM error.

Later I found my internet was shut off, when I inquired with my internet provider they forwarded me an email from Lucas Arts, stating that I was under investigation for obtaining a pirated copy of Monkey Island through steam.

The long email entitled the file as Monkey.Island.2.Special.Edition.Steam and requested I delete the game immediately any further playing of the game would result in further consequences. 

I emailed LucasArts and sent them my receipt from Steam, they replied that I would need to have a Steam representative contact them.

So I emailed Steam and explained the problem and they told me I would need to handle the problem with Lucas Arts, they had my purchase in  record but there was nothing more that they could do.

So I deleted the game and signed a waver promising that I would never Pirate again and registered my IP address with the watchlist so my computer could me monotored....

Since I was very irritated with Steam I logged into the Forums and posted a rant under their support section explaining my problem and complaining about not getting any help, I went on to further argue that this is the reason that pirates are created, when gamers get slapped around by the system some of them are prone to become software pirates not wanting to deal with DRM issues I ended the post with a request for Forum users to post their support against DRM and software Piracy. Saying how  can we blame gamers for becoming pirates when the new DRM settings are getting honest gamers into Piracy, please petition with me to make a change.


So... immediately my post was locked and deleted.... and Steam informed me that I was now Banned from logging into steam, and the ban would never be lifted, and the reason? Advocating Piracy.....

now I cannot access my steam account or games.... and after 100s of emails and calls to Steam Support I am getting nowhere.....

any help would be appreciated, am I really going to have to consider involving a lawyer?

  I have been writing a 17 page story for my English Creative Writing Class, Everyone in the class draws strips of paper from a bowl to choose the theme, setting, background characters and The Main characters for your story, once your finished you have to distribute  20 copys to the 19 students in the class and one for your teacher. I drew out "A haunted house" "A serial killer batteling a police officer" "7 strangers connected by fate", so I had to connect these in a 17 page story, im just glad i didnt get "an abondoned church" "an alien abductee" "a piece of paper" and "a coffee cup" as one poor student drew.

so im 11 pages into my story and suddenly ive realized that my story reminds me of 5 days a stranger, when i looked into it i realized that i had inadvertantly borrowed a used idea.

So the two main characters are batteling it out, John the cop happens to shoot Eli the killer in the eye, Eli had been murdering victims as a ritual to the dark god T'chesmuth of the occultist house he grew up in, his parents moved into the house and planned to renovate it and burn all of the occultist material that was in it, Eli's mother only wanted a girl, she hated boys so she would beat Eli as well as her husband would beat him. one day Eli had enough, and after he read from a book and heard about the  dark lord T'chesmuth who promised him immortality, he burned his parents while they were sleeping as a sacrifice to him, and went on to murder other famlies after, he buried these famlies under his mansion as stated in the book so that their tortured souls would power the house, however since John show him in the eye with a splintered bullet Eli was only able to bury one last family with 1 sole survivor a young girl who was hiding under the bed, John saved her. Sadly her mind went with Eli she was left insane and would later die.

I added the 7 other characters as the final sacrifice 8 all together including John, they all had taken part in Elis live, the doctor who delievered him, the psychatrist who committed him, a journalist who badmouthed him, an Fbi agent chasing him, two of the doctors who worked on him in the assylum and ofcourse as up with the times the phriest who abused him. all of which will meet ghrisly murders in Elis mansion the catch is that they cannot leave the house, if they break a window it magically reforms, the doors willnot open no matter what they cannot get out of this mansion.

John arrives at the house some time later after his car swearved from the road due to the pouring rain he cannot open the front door so he climbs through a window, when he finally meets the other 7 he passes out from a gash on his head, suddenly he is in a dream world, its dark and their are only mists and Eli is there explaining to John his plans to murder the whole lot. Eli finally succumbed to the bullet in his head and died after burying the family in his basement. but he still has some powers against the people in his mansion and john is powerless to save them, eventually John will discover the occult diarys and find the means to stop Eli. John will use is own blood to bring Eli into the real world with the very spell that Eli wanted to use to come back to life.

The reason John is still alive is because of the little girl he saved that one night, he kept encountering a horrifing dark entity in the house inbetween the dream state and reality appearing as a small demon with glowing red eyes that would hold Eli off whenver he got close to murdering john in the end when John kills Eli once he has come back to life putting him to rest forever he will get a call on his cell phone which finally works since the disturbances have been stopped telling him that the girl has passed away in the assylum but the good ending is that he is holding the hand of that very girl with the broken house in the background the demon disappered and released the girl whom John adopts

The whole story is supposed to be a very surreal experience with John shiftin inbetween realities, somthing like the silent hill games/movie but now I almost feel like im stealing The idea from 5 days a stranger?
