It's that time of the year some of us are preparing a selfmade advent calender for our childs/partners/friends.

I presume that everyone knows about what I am talking, but just to be sure:
It's a calendar of any shape containing small numbered flaps/boxes, one of which is opened on each day of advent, typically to reveal a picture appropriate to the season,  sweets, tiny toys or small gifts of other content that fit in. Also in use are socks, decorated matchboxes and whatever else can hide the little gifts. 



My task for you - if you happen to accept it - is to show us what you'll place in the advent calender
(or what you'd like to find in case you'd get one)

Hello my dear friends,

I often started to think about the new topic, but always something came shoving in between.
Wherever I was, I saw advertising on posters, in shop windows or tv, even in the news it was worth a message.
If an issue is so intense represented, who I am to ignore it?

So let's give it a go with    and hope that some of you like the theme, too.

I want you to come up with a sprite that somehow is related to or about Star Wars.
It might be a known character (or more) from the movies, a robot (or more)
or even someone (that we do not know - jet), who for example wants to apply for a role in the next movie
or a disguised fan (or more), ...
It's all up to you and your imagination. 

  Rules 
Resolution, style and color depth of the sprite is not specified.
AGS-compatibility is preferred (just imagine that someone wants your brilliant sprite for his new game)
Backgrounds and animation are optional.

The competition will end on 02. Jan. 2016 at midnight (forum-time).

It's hot over here and so it would be really nice to take a refreshing bath and maybe have some fun.

Of course you do!
There are a lot of them right here in our forum!
Yes, I am talking about the members of this big family
Some of them are responsible for the smell of tasty baked, that is still floating around  

So what I want you to do is draw a hero/heroine of your choice, based on or similar to an existing avatar from a forum member and add a special equipment to make him/her veeery fast because nearly all heroes are running, flying or driving like hell  

There are no restictions in color-palette, style or size but to be usable in an AGS-game.
Sprites have to be posted until the end of the 20.03.2012 (forum-time).


AND:
This is just an option without influence to the competition itself!
I if you like we can make this comp to be a little quiz, too:
You are allowed to post the members name your sprite represents directly, but to give the thread a bit more life, you are recommended not to do so!    Feel free to explain the situation the sprite is about or tell a little story about your hero ...

because

... as soon as we have a (nameless) sprite, all members are allowed to guess who the sprite might represent and the creator is allowed to confirm or deny (+ give little hints if necessary).

As soon as the members name has been guessed correct, the creator can edit the original entry and declare it as solved (at least on the 20.03.2012).

Maybe with a sentence like:

Code: ags

this sprite is meant to represent:  xxx
adresseand has been solved by:   xxx[/b]

It's very cold (not only) in my country and after the freezing theme of the last jam we may like something to warm up our hearts, so let's imagine or look out for the love to be seen all around us. It comes along in a lot of colors and shapes!  

I want you drawing a character or more (the kind is up to you) who/which has just fallen in a „very special“ love.  

Some suggestions to give you a clue, about what I mean:

These days the air of this forum has a wonderful smell of sweets and various other ingredients coming along from the cake bakery (mixed with a slight bit of sweat and leather ) but since halloween is also coming up, there is possibly used a „special“ ingredient every now and then, so please take care when reaching out for the sweets.

An ingredient might be coming from a plant, an animal, a scientist who makes it chemically, a (halloween-) monster or even a machine that does it (just no mothers in law please )
