***Very important Rule***
- Using this shape that came from a stormtrooper helmet, you must create something OTHER than an original stormtrooper helmet. A "NEW" version of the helmet is acceptable. I've added another slightly altered shape that you can choose from. Feel free to create ANYTHING you wish except for the original helmet.

                                                                                               
THEME:   I entered the Cantina on Tatooine hoping that I didn't draw too much attention. I quickly found a seat and glanced around the bar to make sure nobody was staring at me. Every time I've come to the cantina, I always see new things and new faces. This time, I didn't see an original stormtrooper, but I did see this....

                                         

Rules:
- Fill in the shape. Gaps are accepted in the shape so long as the outline is intact.
- You may color the outline
- You may rotate and flip the shape.
- Filling in both shapes just might get you some extra votes, but only 1 is necessary.

I noticed that the game...The Cell...has two different game pages. One with 25 downloads and one with 28 downloads. If you check the most downloaded for the week, you'll see what I mean.

On the games page, under AGS awards, I was wondering why these games have not been changed. It's currently 2016, and the games shown have won awards in 2012 and 2013.

Is there a reason why these games never change?

I've also noticed that the showcase games never change. IMO, this is very old and boring, especially to someone that is a regular around here. I'm not saying they aren't good games, but are there really no other games to be shown here?

Star Wars Battlefront should make a Dr. Judy Wood DLC pack.

Situation has been resolved.

I've recently added my game to the games database, but it does not appear on the list of games under my profile. This is the first time this happened, so I'm  unsure if it's something I did wrong, or if it's the games page or profile?

Commander Moss and his crew are back with another dangerous mission.

                                 

An Omega 1 prisoner transport ship carrying two prisoners sent a distress beacon before disappearing from radar.

                       

President Gooman decides to send Slug, Scar, Commander Moss and his new human assistant, Head, to the ships last known coordinates.

                 

Moss and his crew must find this ship and rescue any survivors. Once there, Commander Moss soon realizes, there is more going on than a disabled ship.

                                                   

A new life form emerges and puts everyone on board the ship at risk.

If you haven't played part 1 or 2, have no fear, it is not necessary. There should be enough story to inform you along the way.

Thank you to all my testers who made this game better for everyone. There are some typos that I never got a chance to fix, so I apologize in advance. I Hope you enjoy and have some fun with it.

I'm currently stuck and need some help.

I'm in the room with the two test tubes, platform, door that's blocked by sheet metal and the window above it. I never disconnected the wire that goes to the guideline because there is a current running through it. I turned the machine on that is in the center of all the test tubes.

I posted this here because I figured it was AGS related.   EDIT: Damn, I just noticed this thread said...but not technical...sorry.

I have had the same computer for about 2 to 3 years now, and for the first time ever, this popped up while I was posting. It said some other very bad things too, but I just posted the one picture. My computer keeps warning me about this site for some reason. I haven't changed my anti virus or settings, or anything like that. Anyone else see this before?

Is this something to do with my computer or browser, or is there some evil doings going on?

I want to wish everyone here that reads this, a very Happy Holiday. I want to thank so many people, that if I name them one by one, I might somehow forget one. So I want to thank all of the game makers and players, testers, artists, musicians, creative minds, PM friends, contest participants, game raters, AGS creator(S) and forum Mods, browsers and helpers, for keeping and making the best Genre in gaming awesome!!!!!   (hope I didn't forget anyone?)

I hope everyone here at the AGS forums, has a wonderful and heart warming holiday, and thank you, for me being able to come here all the time, seeing and playing awesome games, and reading funny and interesting threads.

I'm in shock right now, and pray someone can help me. I had AGS open and was working on my game, when I went an searched the internet for something. When I came back and clicked on something, AGS froze, and I had to shut down my computer manually. When I rebooted and tried to open my game, I get this.

So as I'm game making, I start to wonder if Adventure games should have hint systems for the player?

Obviously hint systems can come in all shapes and sizes. You don't want to make it too easy for the player, but that can be talked about here too. As we all know, any one puzzle that stumps a player CAN lead them to stop playing the game. 

Should players have to go to the internet to find solutions to puzzles? Should more games include some type of in game hint system? Does having a hint system make the player reach for it earlier than their brains should? This one I believe so. Does having a hint system ruin some of the good puzzles and the experience of playing because players cheated too soon?

Maybe if games had hint systems where you only get one, or two hints PER game. This way you can use them anytime during the game, but you only have 1, 2 or 3 each time you started the game from the beginning. Anyway, I would love to hear some thoughts on this matter.

I've searched the forum but have failed to find what I'm looking for.

I'm having an issue with a timer. Everything about it works fine except if my character leaves the room before it expires.

Inside this room the timer starts when the player interacts with a hotspot. An object turns visible and shuts off when it expires. If the player leaves the room before the timer expires and re-enters the room later, the object is still visible for a second and shuts off. I'm hoping to force this timer to expire when the player (leaves the room) so that this object is not visible upon returning.

I know there is SetTimer and IsTimerExpired but I feel I'm missing another timer command.

I'm using the Hillbilly, Monk and Knight. I'm in the Monks temple and I'm up to the 3rd test, the magic carpet ride. I'm stuck and can't go any further.

I can make the carpets rise, but I always fall to my death. I have looked at a walkthrough and it mentions to not take or hold any items during the ride up. It also mentions that a rope should appear at the top, but it doesn't appear for me. I tried riding up with just the feather, but that doesn't work either.

Oops...this could have gone in the Rumpus Room.

this really isn't a big deal, but I noticed that a GUI name and a character's name can't be the same. Example....gEvil and cEvil. I was wondering why this is?

I also noticed at times....your object name will not auto pop up when typing in the room script sometimes. You need to go to the room and click on the object and then go back to the script and it will work fine. I'm guessing this occurs when switching rooms while scripting.

Again, not a big deal, but just wondering why these things happen.
