My contribution to Maniac Mansion Mania, now available in English (thanks to Paolo for great help and proofreading).
While playing keep in mind that this is part of a series. There are some gags refering to earlier episodes and of course Maniac Mansion, so I recommend playing all of them

The default language is German, so you have to change that in the setup.



Hoagie gets kidnapped by two mysterious bad guys. Bernard, as the only witness, picks up their trail and starts a rescue mission. To his disposal are his boundless wits, Michael and the incredible rescue car.

I have a character in my game speaking english with a french accent. I tried to do that with a lot of z's and stressed vowels, like this:

I am wiz a scientific group from Pari'.
Zat is a seecret to be solved in zee very last ....

Now it was pointed out to me that that could easily be taken for a german accent too. So I need some input on how to write that accent in a distinctive way.

arj0n suggested the way Officer Crabtree from 'Allo 'Allo speaks:

* God Moaning. The resist-once have accqo-aired a bum. They are going to ex-plod the whaleway brodge.
* I was pissing by the door, when I heard two shats. You are holding in your hand a smoking goon; you are clearly the guilty potty.
* Hole Hotler!
* My lips are soiled.
* I am disgeesed as poloceman so I am oble to move aboot with complate frodom.
* The troon carrying the painting has been bummed by the RAF.
* I am wicking this woo because my poloceman's troosers are full of deenamote.
* There was a wetness at the bonk.
* Dearly belivid. We are gathered here todoo to join this min and this women in haley weedlock.
* Then they will be taken to the arbour where a small boot will be waiting by the dis-used dick.

I don't know if thats recognizable enough, but I'm from Germany and no native speaker so I am in need of some suggestions.
If the Crabtree-style is the way to go I would need help from someone who would be so kind to write my not very long dialogue in this style as I can't wrap my head around this.
