What is the Photoshop Phortnight?

See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/

And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved. Also you can check out the earlier Photoshop Phridays in this forum.

Note: Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, Gimp or any other ~equally good programs can be used.

Art Butchering

At Worth1k sometimes referred as "Modern Renaissance", your mission is to alter artwork (such as Mona Lisa or David) to include modern elements (such as politicans, celebrities, pop culture references, adventure game references etc.) as in my themepost "Pope Sulley", after Raphaels "Portrait of Pope Julius II".

You can include a small original (or a link to it) if it's not well known (should not be needed for Mona Lisa or Birth of Venus, for example).

General Discussion / Yay! I won a trophy!

I was so close of getting my first Worth1000 Advanced Photoshopping contest win in the last one but finally dropped to silver trophy. Nevertheless, I couldn't be much happier :)

My award winning Houndger

This photoshopping stuff is seriously hindering my pixel art & game developement efforts. And sleeping :)

Since it's been a while since the last sprite jam closed and Evil hasn't started a new one, I'll do it because I was named as the runner up. If this isn't acceptable, then kill the thread. Here we go:

Moose Man, the superhero of Agsville, giving a news photo pose after once again catching evil villains.

Size: 120 x 160 px
Colours: 8

Happy pixelinatization!

Critics' Lounge / Isle Thing (Updated image)

Here's a background I've been experimenting with. It's an attempt to draw in style of KQ/FOA/QFG. It's supposed to have some bushes and a tree, some taller grass etc. so it wouldn't look like poured-on green slime on a tree stump. I'm trying to finish bigger things first but I'm having problems pointing out problems.

It's drawn in PSP, mostly by freehand mousing, smudge+colour cut and zoomed in pixel by pixel work. C+c and ideas welcome.

Here's a new one with different shape:
