Hi,
Wasn't 100% sure where this should be posted, so I hope here will do. Here goes:
I'm looking to create a game similar in style and gameplay to the original Super Famicom game 'Clock Tower'. For those of you not familiar with the game, it plays a lot like a simplified point 'n click adventure game (the player can only direct the character to walk left and right, not towards or away) with some survival horror elements mixed in (a creature will from time to time chase you, and you must hide from it until it gives up looking for you).
It seems that by default AGS is designed to handle Lucasarts and Sierra style adventure games, but does seem to have some pretty powerful scripting capabilities. So my question is, do you think AGS can be adapted for use in such a game?
For reference, here's a youtube video of some game footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rysffqxloso&feature=related
