I'm stuck - I can't get the helmet. I tried starting the game from the beginning with no success!  
Do I need to delete, reinstall and start again, to beat the bug?
Any suggestions?  

I got stuck on the painting scenario and thought I'd check here for clues. I've just poisoned the rat. So guess what - I've just read that you're not supposed to poison it!  Does it matter that I did? How do I do the painting?

*1- I've set the dynamite up - is it meant to be on the cliff to the right of the dam? - I need a fuse - where do I get one from? *2 - I can't get access to Mika's building - but I haven't found her yet - do I need to find her or get in the building? *3 I can't get anything from the bum's box -"it's icky" - as if a zombie would care! *4 What can I do about the rat ice-cream maker in the back of Yahtzee store?

Everytime I click key to door, the inventory screen flips down, I've tried all sorts of combinations and nothing i do seems to work - please help.

I have;

fishfood, 2 pots of water, rope and card 2. I did have a skull that I picked up from the crack in the sand but it's gone from my inventory!:(
I know I'm meant to call the fish but I can't with what I have and I've tried everything

axe, ID, nuke and tap. I had to use bed, sink, (but I couldn't get anything out of sink) toilet seat and t.v. to get into the analyzer room. I've mixed acid with powder and thrown it at the electrical panel - there's now a hole but Mac wont go through it. I can't do anything with lead box, papers, cardboard box or sleeper

I've got all the ingredients bar the sleeping tablets for the zombie killer spell. I can open the red doors of the exit and then can't go through. It tells me it's an emergency exit - I've tried all the actions and all the inventory items but no luck is this a bug?

the harbour and the Songo well. Can't do much in either. I can't give the guard or the punk any of the stuff I'm carrying and although there's something with Songo's right eye can't get to it!

I've tried all sorts of combinations of stuff on each person and nothing works.
So my conclusion is that I probably did something out of sequence and so cocked up the game. Pls let me know and if I can make good or have to restart. Thanks for yr help Kediri

I'm behind the smaller width of the left column. I have the loaded syringe but everytime I try to jab him with it, he sees me - although I haven't moved. This starts a brief dialogue and then I can try again.

Then the next scene is Apprentice waiting for his master, only trouble is the screen is split with the inventory/ verb section and the picture is frozen - had to switch off.

I've read all the relevant posts (and checked out walkthru) but I'm having a major problem.
It's at the end of the day "I'm prepared to call it a day"...
(I have concerns about who is responsible for a missing person + I have 2 things which are a main clue!)
