Hey guys,
I'm curious about a few concepts within AGS relating to filters and resolution.
I receive the following message when attempting to preview/run;
There was a problem initializing graphics mode 1024 x 768 (16-bit) with game size 512 x 384 and filter 'none'
First question; it says the filter is set to none; where do i change this? I see these options in Build - Run Game Setup, however upon changing the filter, im still presented with the same message.
Where is it pulling the 512 x 384 from? how does it arrive at these values?
Is it possible to set a resolution outside of the existing resolutions inside the General settings > Resolution options?
I'm attempting this on a laptop I purchased last week, it has reasonable specs; 4gb memory, AMD radeon GPU running windows 8.
The game iself is simply a test room at the moment. With a background image.
Thanks
David
