Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of making a website/portal for language learning via video games and animations with dual subtitles. Currently the address is languagegaming.com (languagequesters.com in the near future) -- I already have some content developed in Spanish and a bit in Russian (animations and a few gamebooks)-- I haven't uploaded this content yet because I'm working on the membership/shop format. Anyway, I'm looking for people who already developed games in AGS and own the rights for it.

The concept is to make a version of your game/s with full audio in a non-English language (preferably Spanish, but can also be German, Russian, French or Japanese) and to make it with bilingual text. That is to say, any text in your game will appear both in English and in the audio language of the game simultaneously.

This is suppose to be a new market for people whose games are overshadowed by today's competitive market of indie/big company games. It will add a new category to your game-- educational. :) Making it far more of a niche game than anything else.

The concept is very new and I'm looking for game publishers to collaborate with. If your game is already voiced and translated in a foreign language, all I'd ask is for you to make a dual-text version of your game. If your game isn't voiced or translated to a foreign language, well-- we will need to discuss further, see the prospects and then collaborate on the full localization of the game. I can help with it or you can do it by yourself.

Whatever the case may be, this is going to happen and I'd love for people to showcase their games to me so games that have been in the shadows for a long time can really now shine in a new market.

Hi everyone,

I'm Lerik, 29 years old, cosmopolitan, polyglot and adventure games enthusiast. :-D

I'd like to offer my game localization services for your game/s. It would be free, no charge-- it's something I will add to my resume as a game-localizer and translator. The languages I'm working with are Spanish, French and Russian. If there are audio voices in your game then I'd probably want to include voice acting as well (we're a female/male duo). Nevertheless, if there aren't any voices to do, that's also perfectly fine, maybe even better since the first localization project I take shouldn't be too difficult.

When translating I will do my best to respect the game's atmosphere/settings and will do as professional work as I can. Since I love languages and I'm kinda "nitpicky" about words and phrases, your game is in good hands. There's no prerequisites as far as genre or length, in fact I came here knowing there are many hobbyists and amateurs here to have fun. Nevertheless I'll probably play the game first just to make sure it's playable and passes basic game requirements. I only ask that you make it easy for me, hopefully you have all the game text in one single text file so I won't have to do any monotonous technical work and I can focus on the translation. Also, I probably won't do all the 3 languages that I offer to a single game, so it's best that you will pick the one that you would like to see your game translated to when you send me an email.

I want you to understand my personal motivation: I'm very passionate about a language-learning method that I call "Language-Gaming", which is playing games in the language you want to learn (of course it's mostly for advanced students unless you can change subtitles in the game to be in your own language). I've been doing that for about 10 years now. So, ideally, every decent game ever created should have a few good localizations to it. I know that a game is your baby, I've been personally been using 3D software to develop games. I won't post links, but feel free to PM me if you want to see my Spanish-learning platform game (it's for Android and it's free but it's in alpha/beta mode and is likely to stay that way).

I'll post my status here as far as accepting/not accepting new projects. Currently accepting. :)

So it's a pretty straightforward offer, feel free to email me/PM me.
