I can program but I'm a beginner in AGS.  I would like to set up part of a puzzle where a padlock sprite can be rotated left or right maybe even one frame at a time.  The frame rotations would be done in an art program, so the sprite would have 39 frames.  I know AGS can rotate also, but it sounds kind of complicated.  Anyway, any thoughts on the simplest way to do it would be appreciated or just pointing me in the right direction.

So, I've been modifying the Roger base game with a different background size (640 x 360) and different sprite sizes.  On the base game, the text is at the bottom of the screen when the cursor goes over a hotspot.  On my game, it's up quite a bit and to the left.  I did a search for hotspot text but couldn't find anything that applied or missed it, or just didn't understand it. I changed the resolution setting in general to 640x360. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

I'm experimenting with a character walking on a 640 x 360 background by replacing the roger view with my own character which is quite a bit larger.  Using 8 frames the character moves too far and looks stuttering so I am trying to add duplicate frames in the view of each frame to smooth it out.  I can then shorten the pause rate between frames.  But I can't figure out how to add an extra frame of each sprite.  It just has a selection to add them all.  If I hit create new frame it makes a copy of the next frame in the sprite loop and it's at the end of the view.  I could do it in an art program and reload them in the sprite folder but I thought I might be missing something.  Just getting started.  It's mainly the size of the character, because it's bigger.

Hi everyone.  I've been out of adventure making for a while.  I tried learning AGS quite a few years ago but didn't finish up.  The truth is, most of the great indy games get made with AGS.  There are so many games to play here that are really good.
Anyway, I'm getting started again going through the tutorial and doing some artwork.  The program I'm the most impressed with is Krita.  Part of it is because I'm familiar with it.  I was wondering what others are using.  I'm sure this has been posted before, but I wanted to see what current developers are using.  Hopefully it's not worn out and I don't get scolded or anything.

Hi everyone.  Just starting a project and mostly want to see if my dropbox url works with this forum, but please add whatever criticism you'd like.  I want to do sort of higher pixel artwork like Delores, Ron Gilberts game at 640 x 400.  These were made in Krita with their pixel art tools.
