I.m trying to download this game......but it isn't in English.  What is my problem?

Help would be appreciated.

I have a large screen which can be used for TV signal or as a computer.monitor.    I'm not bragging here....when I download the game the resolution is extremely fuzzy and the colors are all over the place...I don't have access to 256 colors , only 16 and 32 bit... screen 800x 600 or 1064 by something.  Any help or advise out there .  I love the game.

 This may or may not be the place to ask about this problem....In the last few weeks I have tried to download several AGS games . The window shows them loading but at the end of load a window shows up saying " Access to specified device, path, or file is denied."Ã,  Ã, 
I've always , well almost always , been able to download and save.Ã,  Has anybody any idea what's going on??
I play through AOL out of state of Connecticut..and I don't think I've changed anything.
So, is (across the pond) not working anymore?

I tried to download AGS anew and that same window appeared.   Any idea what might be happening or how to solve the problem? Thanks.  Jacquie C.

  I know it's a year or so old but I've started playing it....found a walkthrough that isn't helping...I m close to beginning , can't locate chocolate pretzel, which is supposed to be in one of the bins, likely Alastairs but I can't find it in all the junk........ can't get bathroom cupboard open to get laxative and don't know how to switch characters....any help out there?  I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks.  Jacquie C.

I.m in the lab, have cable with slime on both ends...would like to open metal plate on wall but pliers won't do it...any help out there?   Jacquie C.

 ::)Just started this game and seem to be stuck already. I realize it's 3 years old, but couldn't locate a thread.   I'm in the house at the beginning, have fed the cat, got the key and visa card also aspirin.  Have been in 1 bedroom , kitchen, bath and living room .   Can't use the car and can't get into any other rooms or use map.   Any help out there?  Thanks.  J. I need to understand what is meant by interacting with the red whistle in the forest versus using the hand icon to hold the whistle.......so that I don't get totally dismembered.  Thanks a lot.

Jacquie Clarke  I did try other nethods  but didn't get it right ie. holding it over leopard.

 :  I'm spending a lot of time at police headquarters...I've been to Smith's red house, got the photo ...back to headquarters BUT I have a lot of trouble hitting the elevator button  (all the time)  hand didn't reach , walking back and forth, repositioning myself..it's a pain.  Anybody else have this problem?  If so any directions or suggestions?  Thanks a lot.
