okay lets pretend im not walking like im drunk and on drugs, would it be a cool idea to use myself as the main character of my game? if i could figure out how to make myself look like im acutaly walking of course i was think about like using myself for all the characters in the game and just wearing diferent costumes or like puting on a mustash ro whatever...i think it would be pretty damn funny

what would u guys think about somone doing leisure suit larry 8 "lust in space" the game that was supposed to come avter 7 but was never made...

i think i might attempt it because to tell u the truth the game i was origonaly going to make is kinda turning out to be garbage lol cant think of a good plot and there no depth so maybe woking with characters that have already been established would be easierso lsl8 yes,no,maybe

theres lots of amazing artwork on here but its eather really realistic or its like the oldschool sierra style with lil blocky dudes nothing really cartoonish
the latest thing iv seen is that guys thread about the monkey island fan game thats the first thing iv seen thats really like a cartoon....just wonderin

hi im not very good at drawing backgrounds so iv been editing some day of the tentacle ones but i need some help with adding some texture and shading if anyone could point me in the right direction or give me some tips it would be great thanks...this is my first attempt and also this will be the first game iv ever made so i dont expect it to be amazing lol i posted some info about it in the games in production forum..have a look. also im having a hard time doing side views of the to characters iv made wich is the first step in a walk cycle i think so iv atempted a side view of the main character but its kinda crappy

         Hey there names chris, just downloaded ags a few days ago and iv been reading the tutorials and im slowly geting the hang of it (keyword slowly).

    anyway i have an idea for a game and id like you guys to give me some imput.  Ever since i played the first Liesure Suit Larry game iv loved adventure games spacificly sierra and lucas arts style ones so when i found ags i was like hell ya so i just gotta read all the tutorials and all that but anyway back to the game idea
 
i pretty young (18) and i think i have a fairly good sense of humor so what i wanna do is an adventure thats somthing like the leisure suit larry games but based on a teen not a middle aged man i know sierra's working on a new game based on larrys nephew but this game wont be related to that really other than the fact that there will be lots of rude humor (but funny) and 1 of the goals of the game will be to get laid wich i know is a common goal of almost all 18 year olds however this wont be the main goal

im still working on that along with the story line, heres what im thinking so far.the game will take place on a weekend so i fugured a good title would be The weekend kinda lame maybe but oh well the main character whos nickname is smokey (take a guess why) has just broken up with his slutty girlfriend so hes in serious need of some good poontang and basicly just wants to have an awesome weekend with no restrictions now that hes single and doesnt have his gf breathing down his neck

throuout the game hell have to avoid his B**ch of a mother whos always naging him to get a job and his ex whos still tryin to controll him even tho there not going out anymore like i said tho im still working on the story line iv got some pretty good ideas brewing in my lil head but  i need some input from other ppl too all i know is that the end result should be smokey getting a fine peace of ass along with the main goal (wich might be puting togeather a house party, not sure) and basicly just having one of the most crazy and fun weekends of his young life.

Now as far as the art part of the whole thing i havnt picked up a pencil in a few years so im not the greatest artist im not completely garbage eather though so ill be drawing the characters myself  but i suck at making backgrounds so i was thinking about taking backgrounds from games like day of the tentacle and sam & max then editing them new colours/objects ect. because i love the style those games have and for my first time that would probably be the eaiest thng to do i already have a front view of the main character that im pretty happy with

k so what im looking for from u guys is ur input and sugestions on things like puzzles and maybe a few sugestions on the story line because as of right now its a lil skectchy but all in all i think that this will be a reallly cool game that teens and hopefully ppl of other ages will find funny  and fun to play especially if u enjoyed the larry games as much as i did, like i said i have a pretty good sense of humor so it should be pretty funny. so for people my age think about what would make a cool weekend and some puzzles that go with the theme and for older ppl think back to when u were my age and let me know what u would consider entertaing in a game like this thanks and i hope i get some replys
