General Discussion / What is this thing?
Sat 18/08/2007 21:44:00
A couple days ago my neighbor got this installed on the side of his house. I'm curious of what it is or what it does. On the side it has an FCC id number so I'm assuming to transmits, receives, or otherwise communicates with something. On the one end it has a threading as if something can be screwed onto it, and the other end is open with the wiring coming out. The wires of different colors come out and two of the same color wires go respectivly into a plastic thing with a 3M logo on it.

Give me some kind of idea about this device if you can,

Thanks!

Critics' Lounge / Union Screenplay
Mon 12/02/2007 20:24:38
I'm writing a screenplay about workers in a 1904 shoe factory whom are going to try and form a union. I have about 10 pages so far but I'm a little stuck, mostly beacuse i'm terrible with dialogue. If someone can give me some input and help with what I have already i'd much appreciate.

They start with a bit of strange text, then an add for some stock (at least I think thats what it is...)

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / LOST game?
Sat 11/11/2006 22:18:05
I was thinking just now that the television show LOST might make an interesting game. The entire thing is a mystery and adventure...

Of course the game would have to be a lot shorter than the show takes to reveal things or the player would die of old age before completing a puzzle.

Your thoughts?

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / Great Escape
Sun 29/01/2006 21:50:01
Im thinking of doing a Great escape game. I think I can handle all the backgrounds and sprites (I would be in dire need of character sprites though). It struck me that this would make a great adventure game because the entire idea is all about puzzle and problem solving. I have some sort of action GE game but it sucks worse than most any game I have ever played. God I hope I can find someone to help me with the coding though.

This is up for free discussion for puzzle/plot ideas (I am going to try to follow the movie though so dont deviate to much  ;) ) Also any thing you have to say otherwise about this idea.
