Hello fellow AGSers,
I have a kind of emergency and am in desperate need for some help with a translation from English to Spanish.
I work at my university at the office of international relations and take care of the students coming to the university with the Erasmus exchange programme. I've just received a call from my boss that a student has arrived from Spain who has absolutely no idea what to do next, but apparently only understands Spanish and unfortunately, no one at the office does. The problem now is that I have to meet her tomorrow morning and try to explain what she has to do next.
And this is where you guys come in. I would be eternally grateful if someone could translate the following short text into Spanish for me, so that I have a least something to give to her tomorrow:
"First of all, welcome to the University of Dortmund. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish so if you have any more questions I won't be able to answer them straight away, but I'm trying to contact the other Erasmus students from Spain to help you. So don't worry, I'm working on it.
The first and most important thing you have to do now is to register at the university of Dortmund. You can do this here, at the Office of International Relations, with me. You only have to bring a certificate of a German health insurance company. You can get this at one of the two insurance companies on campus, the AOK and the TK. Ask for a "Versicherungsbescheinigung" and make sure to bring an EU health insurance card or the form E111 from your health insurance company at home.
Everything else will be explained to you once I have found someone to translate for us.
I'll write you an email as soon as I have arranged everything, so please be sure to check your mail every now and again during the next couple of days. You can do so at the free terminals of the university (for example in the Audimax, Hörsaalgebäude II or the library).
Now don't worry and enjoy your first days here!"
As I said, if someone could help me out, even with small parts of the above text translated to Spanish, I would be most grateful.
