Does anyone know how to change the speed of the character from inside the run time engine.. like, either by pressing a button or something similar?

Does anyone have a high resolution character that i can put in my AGS game? It's for a software design project that is due in two weeks so i need it pretty bad...
It can be a man or a woman. The backgrounds have already been drawn, but unfortunately, because of my ability (or lack of) i can not draw the character.

Im thinking about making a game in AGS for my major software design and development project... If i make this game, would it be classified as me programming the game? will i be credited for the game? Or will I fail the assessment...
Since people make games in Visual Basic, and they classify that as their own game... im thinking its the same with AGS... but i want to get this clarified
