Hi! My older brother wants to be a dick so he set up a "idea filter" on my computer that parses a page and shuts off the browser if it doesn't like the page. It's really annoying because the filter is really shitty and will glitch up alot. Any help on how to bypass this thing would be appreciated since I couldn't even read anything from the hints section on this forum.

the other day, i was browsing the articles at gamedev.net when i came across an old ebook titled "the secret are of computer adventures". even though a lot of the stuff in it is outdated, it's still an interesting read and, imo, has a gold mine of information in it.

ever since i've been playing adventure games, i've always admired at how great sierra draws their backgrounds. i'm still amazed at them even though they'd be considered crap by a lot of people today. does anyone know where you can get tutorials that show you how to draw backgrounds in the style of sierra games like king's quest vi? i did try googling if you have to ask. any help is appreciated.

hi! this is my third background and i need c&c on how to improve it so that i'll get better at making backgrounds. this background was made in adobe photoshop and it took me four hours to make. any help is appreciated.

how powerful is the scripting language in ags? do you have low level access to your hardware and all that stuff?
