Didn't know where to post it so I'll just write here:

I'm looking for an animation tutorial, the animated sprite was some random guy(I think he had a tanktop on) and the animation was him pulling some metal bar out of his forehead. I'm not exactly sure where I got the link but I'm pretty certain it was from these forums. The reason I'm looking for it is it had a kickass swift arm animation(fast movement is blurred).

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about or would be able to provide a link?

Pixel a character that looks like he's from the Old West: Cowboys, gunslingers, cattle ranchers, prostitutes, sheriffs, etc. No bigger than an old school screen size of 320x200.

There's a catch though:

 -  You are required to use only colors from the EGA palette!

                             

 -  Extra cookies for animations(swinging a rope, gun tricks)
 -  A big marshmallow for an EGA background
 -  Oreos if you do both!

Hi,

I just made this background which Is supposed to resemble some sort of a street in a city. The thing that bothers me is that:

1. It looks empty,
2. It lacks general atmosphere.
3. The metal thing on the red building since the horizon is on the same height as the metal thing.




Is there any way to improve this background? Critics aswell as paintovers are welcome.

Hi!

I want to make a calcualtor in a way. I want the script to remember the values of each item in the list box and then when I write the numbers into the text box, the calculator would display the result(eg. item ammount+number I typed into).
I also want all the items to start with 0 and when they are clicked upon, the calculator would add the ammount I type into the text box to the item ammount and when I click another item and write an ammount, it would add it again etc. How would I make such a calculator. I know it has something to do with ints but my scripting knowlege is to small to make something as complex as this.

Ok, just as the topic implies: I'm aving problems with the list box. I want the player to be able to see all of his inventory items in a list box. And then, when the item is highlighted, to show it's image on the GUI. How can I do this? I know, a totally noobish question but I want to release my first game, I really do. I hope I'm not violating any rules and if this question has been asked before, please direct me to it.

Ok, I'm this close to making my first game and I just have a few bgs left. Now, I need crits for this 1person perspective. I'm not satisfied with his thumbs but every time I try to improve them, I just make them worse. Any critics?

* Participants must use the given sprite for their animation.
* Each competition will last 11 days.
* The starter of each competition will decide on the winner.
* The winner will start a new competition as well as supplying a sprite.

This is Bob, a hunter. He hunts. I want you to animate him hunting or beeing hunted. He can hunt for something(Wolves, bears,...) or someone(G.W.Bush, CJ,...). Be creative!

BONUS:

*Blood in massive quantities
*Adding more monsters and creatures to attack him
*Him fighting for his life
*Animate how he takes his Wincherster

I'll judge mostly how smooth the animation is and how creative you are+bonuses! You can use either the side view or the front view. Or both.
