I was developing a game about a year ago but stopped. Now I am thinking of starting a new one. Is it worth it? I mean what is the ultimate satisfaction of taking up so much time. Will the AGS endure for long? will AGS awards count for developers outside UK/USA?

Hi all! I want you to have a look at my demo of my upcoming game which is called 'The hidden mystery'. The game is about a strange mystery sorrounding the house of the main character. The story is pretty the typical horror style and hopefully you should get a good idea of how it will be when finished after playing the demo. The game should hopefully be ready in the near future. I am planning to make a kick ass game once I finish my exams however I need a program which could create gorgeous backgrounds for my games....you know adding effects to colours etc...I think you know what I am talking about.

Any programs out there ??
