Hi, here is another picture. The house is belong to a small Chinese merchant family.




Probably a lot of things need improve this time. The roof is already the third I drew but it still looks strange. Also the grassland, not sure what I should do with it. I drew the tree according to one of the tutorial.

Sorry first, since I am not sure if this is the correct place to put this question. (At least it is really a beginner's problem.....)

Actually I only started learning how to draw picture with computer recently. I have already read those tutorials about drawings.

I usually draw the outline with black color first, then fill the color. (Is this the usual way everyone do?) My problem is: what should I do with the black outline afterward? It seems that completed background pictures of others usually don't have those black outline.

Also, for characters, the outline is usually changed to color similar to the area adjacent to it. I want to do this to my completed character, which has full walking animation already. But if I need to change the color for every single frame, the workload would be devastating..... Did I miss something in the poccess? Any suggestions?

Have not done the shading yet. But I think the outline is ok.
However, my friend thought the side view looks like a girl.....

I have downloaded the AGS recently and is learning how to write a game. However, before really getting started, I found out that AGS does not seen to support Chinese words.

Actually, Chinese is my first language, so I was planning to write a game in Chinese first, maybe translate it to English later if it is successful (or if I ever complete it). I already have an idea about a Chinese 'magic' game.

I have checked the FAQ. There are addons for German, Greek, but no Chinese or Japanese atm. Probably not too many Asians here.

Can anyone help? Or should I just write the game in English?
