Plot:
Bowser comes across a genie and gets one wish. His wish? To be put inside The Legend of Zelda, but the wish doesn't go as planned. Everything goes wrong. Bowser must overcome these obstacles and get out of The Legend of Zelda.

I hope everyone enjoys this, it's the first game I've ever made.

I couldn't find this anywhere, there was a text parser section in the manual, but I couldn't figure it out.

Here's what I want:

Somewhere in the game there is a riddle, now you have to answer the riddle in a certain spot.
Now, player goes to spot, talks to item, and a text parser appears. If they answer right, they get the item and if not then they get a message like "try again". Also, I read this in the manual "InputBox command (but it has quite a short line length)." the answer to the riddle is short, so I want to use that instead of making a GUI if that's possible.

How do I go about doing this?

It's me again.

I've finished the tutorial, it walked me through step by step and I had very little problems.  I put in different sprites. I've created a room with hotspots that  I can examine in the test run, I have an object I can pick up and examine and a second object that I can examine.

Then the tutorial ended and I'm not sure where to look in the manual now. I still need to give the objects functions for puzzles. Connect some rooms. Create animations for puzzles and story development. I need a push in the right direction.

I'm a beginner making my first game and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm at this part:

"So, select "Interact object" and click the "..." button. When the player picks up the key we want two things to happen - firstly, the object on-screen needs to disappear, and secondly, the inventory item needs to be added to the player's inventory.

Here's my script solution. As an added bonus, I've also given the player 5 points for their trouble, but you don't need to have that third command:"

so that I can pick up the item. I have this script there like it said:

player.AddInventory(iKey);
GiveScore(1);
}

Then it says I should be able to pick up the item (which is a key). When I try to pick it up with the hand in the test run nothing happens. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Does anyone know where I can download these? None of the links work for them and I could only find 4 and 5 at bicycles for slugs.

I'm in the room with the computer and need to beat the computer in a virtual swearing battle, the main character says he needs something to better express himself. I have a glass helmet and a fang. I can't find any items to take in the room and none of the items I have seem to do anything.

Or possibly in the works with: The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Sam and Max, and Grim Fandango? I haven't played any of these games and since very few stores sell used PC games finding them is near impossible.

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so sorry if it isn't, and sorry for posting it at all, but I didn't know any where else I could get a solution to this problem.

At the beginning of the game on the roof of the school When I try to go into the Hock-a-loogie mini game I get an error message that says "The system cannot find the file specified" anyone know what the problem is?

Also this may be relevant to the problem: if I try to go into the hock-a-loogie mini game with the "BBLOOGIE" icon I get an error message that says "Error: failed to load sound 'loog1.AIF' ".

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

In Ben Jordan Case 2 what song is playing in the bar? Sorry if it was mentioned in the credits, I didn't notice it.

I have the sensor, the curtain, the paper, and the box. I try to use the sensor on the sand, but it says I need a bar I can't figure out how to get the bar.

I get this message when I try to load my saved game:

"Illegal exception

An exception 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0x7C91142E ; program pointer is +335, ACI version 2.71.891, gtags (594,36)

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal."

It was loading fine, then suddenly it started closing the program and displaying this.
